1000 Ways to Die Contest

The stories will include a death, based on the TV show 1000 Ways to Die, of any character from the Twilight series. If you haven't seen the show, there are clips on YouTube. They're basically based on supposedly the most ridiculously unlucky true deaths ever!

One example could be Tanya peeping at Edward and Bella during an intimate moment. She gets caught by Bella looking up and as she runs off, she steps on the end of a rake. It flies up and slams into her head, killing her immediately.

Another example could be that Mike has a fethish for morbidly obese women. He meets the woman of his dreams. They proceed to have sex with her on top. They've both had too much to drink and she accidentally passes out on top of him. She doesn't realize that he's dead until she wakes up the next day.

Basically, remember these stories are meant to be funny! Have a great time and we look forward to seeing what everyone writes!

Contest Rules:

The contest is anonymous and the entries may not have been previously published elsewhere. Also, they may not be posted anywhere else until after the winners are revealed.

Any rating will be allowed, but stories containing rape and/or pedophilia will NOT be included!

Entries must be between 2000 and 20,000 words.

The stories may be canon, alternate universe, and have either all humans or include vampires.

Entries may either be solo or collaborative efforts. However, there is a maximum limit of 2 stories per person / collaborative team.

Once stories are submitted, they cannot be changed.

Stories MUST be beta'd. They will be checked for spelling and grammatical errors. If more than 15/1000 errors are present, the stories will be returned. They may be resubmitted as long as the deadline is not up. If needed, we suggest checking out Project Team Beta.

Entries will be accepted until March 15, 2011.

Open voting by poll will be between March 17th - March 24th. Winners will be announced on March 26th.

Winners (1, 2, and 3) will receive a banner (by Katmom!) that includes their placement in the contest.

Judges will also award a banner for their Overall Judge's Choice.
