Favorite DBZ character is Gohan. I don't care what anyone says, Gohan is the strongest person and the end of DBZ, and I think they did a terrible job with him at the end(especially gt, they took away his powers).

My fic is Dragonball U. The main characters will be the 5 saiyans, Goku, Gohan, Goten, Trunks, and Vegeta. If you are wondering, the U stands for Universe, because the battle will be fought to save the entire universe. My story starts right after the last episode of DBZ. I'm using the first handful of episodes as practice for my story telling ability, and the tournament will have little to do with the main plot.

I strongly dislike Dragonball Gt not necessarily for the plot, but for the way the characters were portrayed. Goten is 27 and still lives with his mom, Trunks is 28 and skips work like he would school. They turned Goku into a kid (enough said), Gohan became a wimp and possible weaker than Trunks and Goten, and the made Vegeta a joke with the mushache, they cut his hair, and made him dress like a biker from the 80's.

I expect the fic to run for about 40 to 50 episodes(chapters), maybe more if the reviews are positive.
