Ah, fanfiction. It rubs me a funny way, really. I'm horribly addicted to it, of course. But it makes me think.

What would JK Rowling think if she ever happened upon our work? Would she laugh at our pathetic attempts to imitate her, or would she cry at our horrible manipulations of her characters? Or perhaps some of both, as I do.

Does she feel honored that people love her work enough to write fanfiction about it? Or does she hate us for turning her work into something entirely different.

Of course, she condones the movies, which are really about as AU as some of these fics. More than many, probably. (Of course, I haven't actually seen the movies, I'm just going on what I've heard here.)

Anyway, enough of that. I'm going to try to keep this short, since I can't stand it when people have big long bios. (Course, I added a whole line just saying that. (and another with that.))
