![]() Author has written 7 stories for Mass Effect, Dragon Age, and BioShock. Spending time on this site gives one...perspective. In 2010--a time that doesn't seem like so very long ago--I stumbled upon this website by happy accident, and realized I loved what I was reading. One of the first fictions I recall reading was My Choices, My Mistakes by CannedCream. I remember it because it was--for a long time--the only thing on this site that brought tears to my eyes the first time I read it. It was short, but lacked nothing. It was what finally led me to writing. I've written for a while, and though much of what I originally wrote exists only on lost thumb drives and in notebooks stashed among a lifetime of paperwork, I look back on it and I'm continually amazed by the differences I see. It's something I'm perpetually thankful for, and one of the reasons I always seem to come back, no matter how long I go without publishing anything. I periodically remove some of my older works from the site. These are mostly pieces that I determined to be of unsatisfactory quality that additionally had negligible followings, but are on occasion also pieces that I had hoped to develop but ultimately decided would not, for whatever reason. I've retained some of these works offline, but others have been lost. I appreciate reviews on my works--constructive criticism especially--and will respond to all of it (as best that I am able). So, if you see something in one of my stories that doesn't make sense or you think I executed poorly, simply tell me so via review or private message. It could bring an issue or significant error to my attention or, at very least, I may be able to clear up a misunderstanding. "One day...you will stumble upon someone who will start a fire in you that cannot die." - Beau Taplin, Hunting Season “The world breaks everyone and afterward many are strong at the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially. If you are none of these you can be sure it will kill you too but there will be no special hurry.” -Ernest Hemingway, A Farewell to Arms "Who is but a function of what, and what I am is a man in a mask." - V, V for Vendetta |
