I like to read books and listen to music. I am currently reading JRR Tolkien's The Fellowship of the Ring. The music that is playing whilst I type away is The Bicycles.

I used to do crew, but I didn't really like it; mainly because the coach was a jerk, partly because I'm not really into athletics.

I've been playing the violin for nine years, but I don't usually tell people upon first meeting them. I prefer that they be surprised upon hearing it for the first time. It puts a smile on my face, but I try to hide it so as not to appear...smug.

I've also been in French for five years and I really enjoy it; I'm marvelous at it. Here's a paragraph in French for your enjoyment, taken from French children's novel, Le Petit Prince:

Les grandes personnes aiment les chiffres. Quand vous leur parlez d'un nouvel ami, elles ne vous questionnent jamais sur l'essential. Elles ne vous disent jamais: "Quel est le son de sa voix? Quels sont les jeux qu'il préfère? Est-ce qu'il collectionne les papillons?" Elles vous demandent: "Quel âge a-t-il? Combien a-t-il de frères? Combien pèse-t-il? Combien gagne son père?" Alors seulement elles croient le connaître. Si vous dites aux grandes personnes: "J'ai vu une belle maison en briques roses, avec des géraniums aux fenêtres et des columbes sur le toit...", elles ne parviennent pas à s'imaginer cette maison. Il faut leur dire: "J'ai vu une maison de cent mille francs. Alors elles s'écrient: "Comme c'est joli!"

I'm not even going to bother translating for you. I don't feel like it. So...tough turkeys.

I like to play video games. I'm really good at those too. I could totally pwn you at Marvel vs. Capcom 2.

When I get really annoyed, or frustrated, or both, I invert my sentences. I also laugh when I get nervous or uncomfortable and that can prove to be extremely awkward for some, nay most, people.

I go to a Catholic school, but I'm not Catholic. Whenever people find out about that, they ask me if I'm atheist; that irks me to no end. And the answer, by the way, is no, I am not an atheist.

I do not like these things:

-- The sound of chewing.
-- When people sing the wrong words to songs.
-- Hip-hop.
-- Eggs.
-- The Brawny Man.
-- Unusual shaped eyebrows.
