I'm a single 31 year old first grade teacher who lives in the Middle East. Contrary to popular opinion, my country is rather dull in its day to day activities so let's not go into politics here. You might snooze on your keyboard. I had a crash course in learning the English language during my stay in the US. Growing up during the 80's, my all time favorites were Masters of the Universe, Thundercats, Alvin and the Chipmunks.

I've been a keen reader since I was 9 years old. If a story can make me oblivious to my family's hollering or my brother destroying the kitchen while making lunch then that author's got talent and the story, more often than not, is amazing. My all time favorites have been to this day He-man, Thundercats, Harry Potter and believe it or not the Scarlet Pimpernel. I adore a mix of fantasy, personal drama/anguish, and sorcery.

I hope to someday try my hand at writing a story concerning my favorites titles. At least when I'm not swamped with paperwork and lesson plans. Until then I hope to leave you with a quote from Robert Frost, a reminder about taking a chance on the unknown.

Somewhere ages and ages hence:

Two roads diverge in a wood, and I--

I took the one less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference.
