Searching for Insurrection remnants, a UNSC Prowler instead discovers a world filled with magic and harmony but other forces are at work to undo this balance. In 2552, a UNSC frigate drops out of Slipspace near Earth to find it has been ravaged by nuclear war and is attacked by a UFO in orbit over the planet. In need of parts and answers, they send a Spartan supersoldier to the Pentagon to find them.
