The Newfoundland Way To Learn Your 9 Times Tables: (I think this was set when it was unual for people to actually complet school)

There was 4 people looking to get a job on the oil rigs in Alberta, there were 2 mainlanders(The people who don't live on the islands) 1 person from Nova Scotia and 1 Newfoundlander. In order to get the job they had to pass a quiz. So the 2 mainlanders went in and found the quiz to be about the 9 times tables, they went through the test like it was nothing.Then the person from Nova Scotia went in and did the test. Finally the Newfoundlander was called in. He had goten pulled out of school when he was young to help raise the family and never did learn the 9 times tables (Or something like that, havent told this in a while) so he geussed and wrote down:
