![]() Author has written 2 stories for Misc. Books. Gwaar sighed. "Blazer... In time you will have to realize the truth." "Oh I need to realize the truth, do I?" "Yes Blazer... the truth. The truth is that your friend is lost forever. That nothing you may do will bring him back. It is only once you realize this that you will be truly free, to choose your own destiny." Seems like everyone nowadays chooses fear, hatred, vengeance, even me. "You see the sunset, Blazer? It always reminds me of what we're fighting for. It reminds me of the dark times that will come. But it also reminds me that as long as we fight this darkness together, then the light will return and a new day will come again. Never forget this." The days are growing old. Sometimes you can't help but feel a black wind blow through your soul, and then all you have left is a little bit of memory. I, this account, am an anomaly. I was created to live out a love and passion that the creator could never have understood, and I represent the modern young man's transit into adulthood and his experiences alongside a young woman amidst the depths of the internet. Growth has come, and those two children of the Earth now grow very distant. Their love, once a passion built up by words, has dissolved only into memories and dreams. For you who come here, asking the Machines questions about the shattered fragments of someone's former lifestyle, there is little to be gained. The strength of words as they built up was unimaginable. The couple was close -- very, very close -- for a time. But eventually the boy's heart was revealed to the girl's as one of fear, and of childhood, and he could no longer be loved. For her, a love across the internet was nothing new, and it was not exciting. The text at the beginning of this page is taken from an old legend in Azeroth. Nothing would more truly represent the undying power of the ideas, the thoughts, and the sentiment of living with the Machine. The couple never believed in destiny... But, they believed in hope. They tried to be friends, even when passion had faded. They tried everything to reach for the best and highest level of civility and loving respect that could be attained, even when all love had faded. The poem from Azeroth in that ancient legend ended with one phrase: Remember them, when in hope you doubt. |
