My Writing:

Primarily I write for the HP fandom, though I may occasionally stray into the HP/AF (Addams Family) crossover fandom since I can't get over Wednesday Addams. I am currently working on several novelette and novel-length stories mostly centering around Snamione but with a few Hermione/Others ideas in the mix.

The work I am most focused on is Motherless. This story is an adoption-centric fic that paints Severus as a much warmer person after he adopts the Rowle children upon their parents' deaths. Promising to be their father and find them a mother, Severus settles down into Hogsmeade with a friend, a bookstore and a mystery that he just has to solve. Hermione gets involved after she buys a potions shop in Hogsmeade.

A list of my other current (longer) projects is below under "Current WIPs". There are a dozen other ideas floating around my head including a couple marriage law fics with WIP titles and two other adoption-centric stories involving Hermione, Severus and some super cute OC kiddos. Add to that a dozen or so one/two/three-shot ideas and a possible longer Draco/Wednesday story involving apothecaries, inheritances and a dragon and you've got a very crazy looking writing folder. Since my main focus right now is Motherless, I am not sure how many of these stories will ever be fully written let alone published on here. I will not start publishing a story until the rough draft has been finished because my #1 Fanfiction pet peeve is amazing stories that have been abandoned or forgotten just after they had sucked me in. I refuse to do that to my readers.

I am looking for alpha/beta readers for my longer fics, preferably patient ones who are willing to give me tough love. If any of my current readers would be interested in alpha reading while the stories are being written, or beta reading once they're completed, please feel free to let me know. Perhaps we could bless each other with that.

Current WIPs:

Motherless - Severus Snape survived the war to keep a promise. Eighteen months later he has almost forgotten another promise he made to his adopted daughter the day she was born. When Hermione Granger is catapulted back into his life, Severus will have a mystery to solve and a chance to make sure his children don't grow up motherless.

This story is currently being published at a rate of about a chapter a week. I estimate it will be around 17-20 chapters, though some of my rewrites are adding length so it could go longer.

A Souls Bond - Hermione Granger couldn’t help herself when she stumbled across an ancient spell that promised to reveal her perfect soul mate. Not when the Minister was blackmailing her to be the poster child for their marriage law. The Soul Bond spell was exactly what she needed. Of course, speed reading sometimes did result in missing a letter or two. Hermione just didn’t think the results of her error would be four men and a wampus.

This story is currently being written. I estimate it will be 5-10 chapters (2000-ish words/chapter) in length. Definitely a HG/Multi fic. No beastiality though a wampus does play a huge role in the story (my cover art for this one, should it ever be finished, will hopefully make you smile).

A Bed, A Baby and a Bad Boy - To treat herself after the war, Hermione buys a beautiful bed from a wizarding craftsman, not realizing just what kind of magic the bed is imbued with. After falling into bed with her partner, Draco Malfoy, Hermione falls pregnant and decides to pursue motherhood alone. Little does she know that Draco spotted her purchasing the bed and has made plans of his own.

This story will be 13 chapters and an epilogue and is fully plotted out. It's a slightly ridiculout DM/HG fic and I think the chapters will wind up being 1000-2000 words in length.

Everything - Hermione Granger is the Brightest Witch of her Age. But she's sick of people telling her what she should be: a broodmare or a student or an Unspeakable or… or… or! Hermione doesn’t want “or”, she wants it all: a career, family, love and time to read! Fortunately, the Ministry passes a new law that gives Hermione a chance to have her everything.

This story will definitely be a 10-20 chapter one and is the first one where Hermione's parents play a big role. SS/HG all the way and It's about 1/8 written but mostly plotted out.

Much Ado - Professor Hermione Granger and Ginerva Weasley are anxious for the return of the Order and the boys who left them behind. However, the victorious return under the burden of a new marriage law and, as Ginny happily falls into love with Harry, Draco Malfoy decides it's time once and for all to destroy the Boy-Who-Always-Got-Everything’s chance for happiness. Add in a snarky Severus Snape, some underhanded meddling and the Weasley twins and things are Shakespearing up to be a fine comedy.

The plot of this one is still being finagled (the marriage law may or may not wind up in play) but I have always loved Much Ado About Nothing and am super excited to toy with the original play in this story(once Motherless is fully published–this one could consume me). It will be ten chapters of varying lengths and may or may not feature an epilogue. I've cast SS/HG as my Benedick/Beatrice and HP/GW as the cloyingly-romantic Claudio/Hero pair.

About Me:

I am female, past college age but not quite into my middle years yet, and I love dogs and my husband. My interest in adoption fics stems from our personal journey to have children and the rest of it is just me having way too much fun. I occasionally hike, often eat and never stop drinking tea. I also live with moderate to severe depression and PTSD and am an avid napper. Barring those things, I read and write and go to work where I, you guessed it, read and write.

When I write I like to listen to silence or Tango music almost exclusively–it really builds if you know what I mean. Other than that I basically nest at my desk with tea, water, three blankets and popcorn. My nest includes a fifteen-minute hourglass on my desk (someday I'll get one that's actually an hour!) and a plot board with my very own Tad Cooper lizard and inspiration quotes on it. I tend to write like a squirrel, keeping a dozen tabs open and flitting between them as individual scenes or specific conversations come to me. I also read while I write, both fiction and fanfiction, and talk to my dogs like they know how important it is to maintain the romantic/sexual tension in a story for as long as humanly possible. They don't. They're dogs and they hump things at will. Even though they're girls.
