So, i first got bitten by the fanfic bug after finishing the last Harry Potter book. I was a bit late to that particular party; i'd gotten into the books when they were almost all written, and caught up just in time for Deathly Hallows to come out. As you can probably tell, Severus Snape is by far my favorite character.

I'm into a lot of fandoms, although most notably (aside from Potter) Doctor Who, Lost, and Avatar: The Last Airbender. I read far more than i write, fic-wise, because i'm already a writer by profession—of non-fiction—and so i tend not to have the time to do much writing-for-pleasure these days.

Anyway, i'm deeply grateful to all the excellent writers here who provide me with entertainment and inspiration. Keep on keepin' on!

Wow guys, it's been a year! Sorry about that =\ On the plus side, i'm done with grad school and living the life of a supposedly responsible adult now—which (somehow) translates to more fanfic writing! Yay!! And so, at looong last, here is Chapter 5 of Tamed.

My goodness, another chapter! Make the best of it, you guys; it's gonna be a while before Chapter 5 of Tamed is ready. But i promise i know where i'm going with all of this—and that's half the battle!

Uploads two days in a row! What are the odds? Chapter 3 was getting too long, so i cut it more or less in half, and put the first half up tonight; the rest will become Chapter 4. I had fun with this bit, and i hope folks enjoy it ;)

Thanks to everyone for your patience. Chapter 2 of Tamed is up, and Chapter 3 is mostly written. I'm defending my thesis in a month, so things are a little bit crazy right now—but hopefully will get a bit less crazy soon. The majority of the story is plotted, so it's just (ha) a matter of writing the thing.

Incidentally, rather than inflicting my bad fanfic from college on unsuspecting visitors, i've taken it down. My apologies to anyone who counts this as a loss; i'll try to make it up to you by writing even better fic.
