Hey to all. I don't think there's anything that I'm obligated to tell you, so I'm not going to tell you anything besides that I love anime, HP, Tamora Pierce, Inheritance, HP, Dan Brown, HP, HP, and did I mention Harry Potter. I'm hopelessly addicted to it and wish that I could find some good fics. I've seen some pretty deceent ones, but not as many as I'd hoped (Even though I've recently found A Keen Observer which is a breathtaking story).

Fav Pairings HP:

Really not too important, sometimes, as long as it's well written, but I'm partial to D/G-check out Aduro and Heart's Cadence on my favs-and Hr/SS, just because it's so weird. Canon pairings are ok, but they can be a bit boring.

For anime, there's way too many pairings out there for me to name, so I'm not even going to try. I do love Full Metal Alchemist, Bleach, Shaman King, Dragon Ball Z, Samurai Champloo, Tenchi, and FLCL, and Ouran High School Host Club.

With Harry Potter, I suddenly have a strange obsession with the Black family and the Slytherins. They are possibly the most fascinating characters in the Potter universe because we know so little about them. I plan to cover any different ideas that I may have on them. This includes the characters that haven't entered the books, but are original Rowling characters, such as Daphne Greengrass and Tracey Davis. As you can see, I'm starting with the Black Brothers even if they aren't really Blacks. However, the idea struck me and didn't leave my head, so it's the first of many.

I wanted to explain why I started to write the Black Brothers' Chronicles. First off, this is not a Sirius and Regulus fic, as some might think, but who's to say that I won't write one on them later.

The Black Brothers is a reflection of my own thoughts and J.K.'s world that I'm manipulating. I've seen plenty of stories where Harry is raised by Sirius and/or Remus or some other person that knew his parents. After the prophecy in OoTP, there were a lot of stories about Neville being the Boy-Who-Lived instead of Harry. However, that is not what I'm here to create. I wanted to put pressure on both of them, but that wasn't possible, due to the prophecy, but after all this is fanfiction. So, with a few tweaks, I gave birth to Daniel and Christoph Black, aka Harry Potter and Neville Longbottom.

Before this, I wanted a story where Voldemort was still very powerful, but not set in the Marauder's timeline. Since Voldemort was never diminished, life turned out very different and Daniel and Chris will be very different from their canon counterparts. With the fact that they believe they are twins and their guardians are on the run from the Ministry and Voldemort, the two will grow up in a very harsh world(even than the one Harry was forced to live in for ten years) than canon. Don't expect the same attitudes as in canon. Daniel (Neville) won't be half as clumsy, forgetful, or unconfident as his canon-self. There will be moments of the canon-Neville, but he will be more observant and probably the wiser of the two. Chris (Harry) may be slightly more rasher and possibly cockier, in his actions, but he'll become more strategic as the story goes on.

Basically, I wanted a world where Harry wasn't raised by his parents and had a twin that was the girl/boy-who-lived, where Neville was the boy-who-lived, or something else I've seen done more than a million times before because usually, it's kinda boring. I meshed it all together, giving both the pressure that Harry faces in canon, giving Harry a twin, and be raised by his parents' best friends. I just hope the story will live up to my expectations.

6/22: So I've started a new story, Slytherin Reflections, which is kinda self-explanatory. The Slytherins reflect on their relationships with Draco Malfoy. I had this idea floating in my head for a while and I had to post it because it was driving me crazy. Besides, I like writing the Slytherin characters, they're just so...intriguing. The story won't be too long, probably 4-5 chapters. I have another idea in the works, about Cedric and Cho, so I'll probably write that soon. Don't worry, I promise to update the Black Brothers soon, but they'll take a back seat for a while.
