Author has written 8 stories for Harry Potter, Firefly, and Twilight. Hello all: Because I want to be prepared for the development of Internet sentience, I can't give you my real name. Alas. Tegildess is good enough. If you've read any of the stories below, you might recognize that I'm rather obsessive-compulsive about keeping my fanfiction in line with canon (this mainly applies to Harry Potter). If that's your thing, then I'm your girl. UPDATES August 2012: Well here we are, 5 years after I began my "Muggle Studies" series, and I'm just now getting to part three. Having re-read my own AMIMB and AMITMOM (see below), I am currently plotting the installment that will make it a trilogy: World War Wizard Magical and Muggle worlds collide when Percy Weasley runs for Minister promising to bring down the International Statute of Secrecy. It's up to two generations of Weasleys and Potters to make sense of the new world order, if they can't stop it first... COMPLETED: A Muggle in Magical Britain: Part One of the "Muggle Studies" series– When an average Muggle girl manages to breach security at the Quidditch World Cup and encounter the one Weasley she should be avoiding if she wants to escape detection, Ministry regulations indicate that a memory charm is in order. But not everything goes according to protocol, and (as Arthur Weasley always said) Muggles are a good deal more resourceful than we give them credit for... A Muggle in the Ministry of Magic Sequel to A Muggle in Magical Britain, and Part Two of the "Muggle Studies" series. Kate Weasley is having more than a little difficulty adjusting to her place as the boring, conventional Hufflepuff in a family where heroes and heroism inhabits every branch of the Weasley tree but hers. But while she and Ignatius (mainly Ignatius) attempt to thwart to no-doubt nefarious antics of James Potter and Company, Kate begins to discover that her family history might not be so conventional after all. A lot happened for Percy Weasley and Edie Filbert before "Nineteen Years Later," after all... How To: Open a Door: Hermione Granger, a highly annoying Ravenclaw common room door, and all the silly quotes you loved from the past seven books. Molly Weasley's Extraordinary Magical Clock: The inevitable funeral after Deathly Hallows. Not too cheery, this one. This title actually makes sense in my head, and when my stories with actual plots get wrapped up, I may return and elucidate. The Only Girl in the World: River's still a tad off; Simon's still a tad tactless around Kaylee; a new passenger raises suspicions; and Jayne may actually have a conscience. 3 months post-Miranda, witness a routine heist go terribly, completely wrong. (And because I wish we had Thomas Paine around.) The Twilight Diaries: A parody of the wildly popular series (Lord knows why) by Stephanie Meyer. IN PROGRESS: Must Be Loony: Neville's first year of professorship and all the things that distract him... focuses on relationship with Luna, her relationship with the mysterious Rolf Scamander from JK's Bloomsbury chat/interview, and one other character I've always wanted to redeem. I, Tegildess, do solemnly swear to review all the fics I read, regardless of the number of reviews, its age, or anything else. I have joined the review revolution.
