Favorite music: I like a lot of different styles, but rap and country are immediately excluded. Favorite Hobbies: The Society of Creative Anachronism, a mishmash of historical research, dress-up, arts and crafts, camping, and martial arts. NO, we are not Larpers. Favorite Heroes: Hiro (from Heroes) Dean Winchester Roxas (Sora may be THE hero, but Roxas was always my favorite.) Zack Fair Cloud Strife (I can't help it. Even when I want to shake Cloud for being so emo.) Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator 2 Ripley from Alien and Aliens Batman in general Hawke and- well, pretty much everybody from Dragon Age 2. That game was so much better than I was expecting. Favorite Villains: Darth Vader Hannibal Lector Sephiroth Maleficent ('cause she's so awesome, even her name is evil) The Joker (Heath Ledger's) Sylar (Even if he named himself after a watch. I mean, really, a watch?!) Jareth (David Bowie has Magic Music Power!!) Loki (from Thor) Favorite Quotes: "You need to use more better grammar." "So what kind of movies do you like to read?" Pause. "Wait, let me try that again." "I used to be deep. Then I surfaced and decided swimming was not my forte." "You think I don't have the balls to do it?" "You're a girl. You don't have balls." "Sure I do! They're just bigger and higher up than yours." General Stuff: My idea of a good read includes a strong plot and characters that catch my interest and sympathy. I don't believe in One True Love, but I'm still a romantic at heart. I passionately dislike Mary-Sues and character inserts, though I freely acknowledge the existance (and even occasional necessity) of a well-placed original character. I am sorry to say, I am, to put it mildly, an irregular updater. I write when have the time and inspiration (or energy). Life and school take up most of my time, and with what little I have left over I am often distracted by original fiction projects. In spite of this, I do not forget my projects. On Stories: What's Past Is: (Harry Potter x Yu-gi-oh crossover) Okay, those of you that have seen this and followed it know it's been a long-assed time since I updated it, but I've been needing to refresh my Yu-gi-oh knowledge, and haven't had the time or inclination to go through the anime or manga. On indefinite HAITUS. Untitled: (Harry Potter x Kingdom Hearts) Yeah, I'm a sucker for crossovers. I actually have some of this already written, but not yet arranged in a presentable state. The After Dark Series: (AU Yu-gi-oh- Eventual Slash) Okay, first off, I swear I like a lot more stuff than Yugioh. This piece was inspired by reading too many dissatisfying Vampire!Yugioh fics, plus my frustration that all vampire series out there seems to devolve into monsters and sex. I'm trying (hoping) to manage a story that goes a bit deeper than that. Blame Nenya85 for showing just how beautiful and intriguing the Yu-gi-oh cast could be.
