I use the pen name Beathas, an old Celtic name that I still am not sure I pronounce correctly.

I am also on Archive of Our Own, under the same Pen Name, and I cross post all my stories.

My sister drew the lovely Skywalker portrait on my stories, while my brother designed the Bringing My Brother Home cover.

I will not post a story until I have finished writing it, so if you are enjoying a story in progress you may be certain I will complete the posting in a matter of weeks. I do not write stories with language or sex in them, and I usually shy away from romance as well. My stories can get violent, and do deal with a lot of hurt/comfort, which is why most of them will be rated T.

However, my teenage sisters like to read my work, so I edit the story to be safe for them to read.

I welcome constructive criticism and I try to respond at least once to every person who reviews. I do moderate guest reviews, and do not permit rambling anonymous reviews that have nothing to say about the story itself. I will approve a constructive critique, however, even if I don’t completely agree.

Also, I prefer to stay out of politics and other topics that can lead to offensive situations. I do not write overtly religious works, but you may notice some philosophical/religious themes.

While I do read other fanfictions here, I have a second profile devoted to favorites, following, and reviewing stories, as I prefer to keep these separate.
