Barging into the ladies' restroom was not how Jane had hoped to begin her confrontation with Maura, but neither was letting her friend puke her guts out alone in a dingy bar bathroom. And God help Dr. Maura Isles if she had snuck out a bathroom window just to avoid a simple conversation.

It had been nearly ten years since life pulled Maura and Jane in separate directions. The years had been unkind to Jane and lackluster for Maura. As they catch up during a small reunion they uncover hidden feelings and begin to forgive their greatest regrets. One-Shot based off a Tumblr prompt.

You could say the story began with a pretend prostitute and an over-zealous philanthropist. (In effect, maybe it did.) But the turning point wasn't until much later.

There's only one Rizzoli who should be with Maura when she's stuck with a bomb… (very loosely based on episode 4x15).

AU-Jane has suffered the loss of her family five years ago, she turns to lowly measures as a high class call girl to support her infant child while being plagued with regrets and pain. What happens when she meets her first John, the beautiful Maura Isles? Will her life change forever, or will her darkness drag her down? Much angst along the way, but there is a happy ending.

Just a little oneshot continuation of 4x04 because I refuse to believe Jane waited until the next day to see Maura at work for the first time.
