One year after the case at Hazakura Temple, a change in perspective causes Phoenix to attempt to re-establish ties of friendship with Edgeworth. What he uncovers is a complex tangle of emotions that threaten to unravel everything he thought he understood about himself and his old friend.

After a one-night stand, a stalker becomes obsessed with Edgeworth and begins wreaking havoc on his life. Phoenix tries to help and support him through the ordeal. But things soon get out of hand: Edgeworth is forced into hiding, the FBI is called in, and someone's life is in very real danger. Amidst the turmoil, Phoenix and Edgeworth try to cope with their feelings for each other.

Spoilers for games 1-3. If you change just one little moment of your life, what else changes with it? What if Phoenix had been in the elevator that day? Eventual Miles/Phoenix, also has Diego/Mia. Possible Maya/Franziska while we're at it.
