Hello! Welcome to my fanfiction page, where nobody knows when an update's happening, least of all myself. I'm a 19-year-old college student and an English major, so fanfiction is literally contributing to my college education because that's how I've developed my writing voice. I love Star Wars and RWBY, and that's probably the only fandoms you'll see me writing for (for now).

The Abridged And Lightly Censored History Of My Attempts At Fanfiction

I've been writing since I was five years old in 2005, but I didn't start writing fanfiction until 2013. That year, my first venture into fanfiction was Percy Jackson & The Olympians. Those were the days after The House Of Hades had been released and the PJO fandom was waiting with bated breath for the Blood Of Olympus. I was so eager for Blood Of Olympus, in fact, that I decided that I couldn't wait at all and I would write my own fanfiction version of it to hold myself over until the actual book came out. I made it all of ten pages before I lost steam and abandoned it. That was my first brush with my writing nemesis: attention span. Longevity is something that I'm still learning. Hoping to get the hang of it one of these days. Also, here's a tip for any burgeoning fanfic authors: Do not delete anything you write. No matter how terrible you think it is, no matter how objectively bad it is, in five years you're going to want to go back and laugh at it and see how much your writing has grown. I deleted that first PJO fanfiction, and I regret it today. Just bury it in a folder in your computer and never think about it again. Until you want to think about it again.
Anyways, my second attempt at writing fanfiction was a hideous self-insert Hunger Games fanfiction involving me and several of my real-life friends. It never saw the light of the internet, and I was also terrible at my friends' characterization in the story. There's a reason why that one never made it past ten pages, either.
My third attempt actually made it onto the internet on this profile, back when it had a different username and I hadn't thought about Star Wars in years, but you won't find it anywhere now because I thankfully took it down years ago. That one was "Pedal To The Metal," a PJO story that was my next (and somehow more embarrassing) venture into self-insert fiction. Frankly, I'm amazed that I managed to write 15 chapters and 75,000 words before I realized that no one liked my fanfiction and no one was ever going to like it. I think the only reason I kept writing it is because of something I didn't realize until like last month—namely, that I was basically using that story to work out some issues I was having with my family life. So... thanks for that, fanfiction. Another tip for burgeoning fanfic authors: Use fanfiction as your emotional outlet if you need to. That's why like 60% of fanfiction exists, because people needed somewhere to vent about their feelings. Some people are better at hiding it than others, but that's almost always the real truth.
Around 2014, right around the time I started losing interest in Pedal To The Metal and PJO, I fell back into the world of Star Wars and I've been living there ever since. I last updated Pedal To The Metal in the summer of 2015, and I started A Path She Couldn't Follow in the fall. Ever since then, it's been APSCF all the way. Except for my RWBY fanfiction, which is kind of on hiatus because I just don't have the time to write for two different fandoms while I'm in college.

Status of current stories:

A Path She Couldn't Follow: UPDATED FOR FIRST TIME SINCE JULY 2017! Hiatus is officially dead as of chapter 24 being posted on April 12th, 2019. I will be updating it weekly now! Keep an eye on this one. It'll be going past Order 66 and through the Original Trilogy. There are sequels planned, but I'm still not sure whether to start a new fic for the sequels or keep going in APSCF.

Flags Fly Forever: Well, now that I’m emerging from my unintentional two-year hiatus, I should be getting around to updating this soon. Keep an eye out.

Other Info:

I won't be continuing Three's a Crowd, Four's An Army. It was more of an experiment than anything else, and I had fun writing the first two chapters, but I'm having much more fun with APSCF and Flags Fly Forever.
