•My name is Katie, and I'm a 14 year-old high school sophomore.

•Though a country girl at heart, I was born in a place that calls itself Oceanside—a little town located just off the sandy shores of Southern California. Strangely enough, I don't have any particular fondness for the beach. Or tanning, which is the reason why I’m usually as pale as a ghost.

•Some things I enjoy are rainy days, books, music, writing, owls, fantasy dramas, amusement parks, autumn leaves, movie theaters, the color blue, pretty photos, and coffee flavored ice cream.
