I'm just killing time until Season 3 imagining how that year will go because I love these characters and it makes me sad to be without them. Amending this summary one last time now that this story knows what it wants to be when it grows up. Post Season 2, lots of fluff, a bit of plot, primarily a Hopper & Eleven, Mile/Eleven story, but damn near everyone's in it.

While talking to Will in the shed, trying to break through the Mind Flayer's control, Mike starts thinking about what he would do if Will gave up, and completely unintentionally blurts, "I love you." Mike's existential crisis follows. Meanwhile, Will uses the words as his anchor, holding onto this glimmer of hope with all his might as he struggles to hang on against the Mind Flayer

Steve is keeping a secret. Dustin and Max take it upon themselves to figure out what it is. No slash, no ships, no romance, just Steve figuring out what he wants to do with the rest of his life.

Max finds peace in Eleven's arms and Eleven realizes that she never knew what love was until she kissed Max.

"You should try not to get mad, you know. They only tease you because it gets such a rise out of you. But when you look past all the annoying stuff, they're actually really happy for you." Fluff/friendship, post-S2, Mike/Eleven, party antics.
