![]() Author has written 6 stories for Soul Eater, Avatar: Last Airbender, and iCarly. Hey There! I'm RedDauntless and I'm a Steampunk Badass. Or at least I would like to be :) I'm typically not a reader, and I have a lot of insane, impractical ideas. But nevertheless, these ideas always seem to morph themselves into stories that clutter my laptop (which by now is probably over 14 years old.) I have a fascination with characters and the relationships between them. How they grow, learn, and change when put into difficult situations. I enjoy all different types of entertainment and appreciate good writing when I see it. Please don't be afraid to comment or give me advice. I'm always open to new things! I mainly write fanfiction to appease an unease I had for the original series, if I feel a character has more potential to be developed, or if I simply have a story too crazy not to write down. I LOVE MOVIES: My ultimate goal in life is to become a film director. My favorite thing to do is watch movies. I'm not really a television person, but I do watch some. I like anime too, and animation in general. I'm a fan of Kubrick, Scorsese, Nolan, Hitchock, Miyazaki, Spielberg and many others. I am particularly interested in children's films and entertainment, though you wouldn't be able to tell by my writing. XD I believe that media has become a key element in molding the minds of our children and we should keep that in mind before putting them in front of a screen. MUSICALS USED TO BE MY LIFE: Don't be surprised if you find a lot of old musical references in amongst my writing. I used to be quite involved in theatre and still participate in it from time to time. Sondheim influenced a lot of what I think and feel, as well as how I write. So though I don't read much, I've gotten literary experience from other places. It's all about balance, no? MY FAVORITE SHOWS: Soul Eater, Avatar: TLA, Codename: KND, Teen Titans, Code Lyoko, Sherlock, The Critic, South Park, Princess Tutu, Baccano!, Ouran HSHC, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Steins;Gate, Ghost Hound, Paranoia Agent, BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad, FLCL, and many others. I'm not too good at keeping up with American live-action television. I HAVE SIX COMPLETED STORIES UP SO FAR
Musicality: Part Two-- A continuation of the series Musicality. A man comes to the DWMA with a proposition that could end the war against the witches for good, but at what price? This story has more of an immediate external conflict and leans more toward the abstract than the last which dealt more with the internal struggle of Soul and Maka's relationship. For that reason, it's stylistically a little different. It picks up right after Part One. *Part Two of a three part series* Musicality: Part Three-- The third and final part of the series Musicality. Things seem quiet for Death City and the DWMA. As Maka and Soul try to continue living their lives, an unexpected visitor comes to turn everything on it's head. This story is the final part, with a heavy dose of external and internal conflict, though towards the end it is mainly external. This part has the most fighting in it and feels the most like the actual series. It picks up right after Part Two. *Part Three of a three part series* Obsidian Stratos-- Black Star is proud to show his friends his new "original" story. But they begin to get suspicious when they find stunning similarities to the fictional characters in his writing. This story is just fun and not meant to be taken very seriously. It was a nice break from my usual writing which is often very heavy because I just can't help but make everything intense. Possibly a one-shot. I might make more. Kamikaze and The Blind Bandit-- Avatar Fanfiction. Three years after the hundred year war comes to a close, the Nations are still suffering from feelings of bitterness and separation. Toph appears to be unaffected by the change and is happy founding her metalbending academy. However, when her friends get back together for the Summer Solstice, she is forced to re-evaluate her role in the world. Note: This is my response to Love Potion #8. iAm-- iCarly Fanfiction. A slightly introspective look at the relationships and unspoken tragedy behind one of the most popular sitcoms of the mid-2000's. Samantha Puckett comes from a world filled with hardship and disappointment, unequivocally caused by her own actions: or so she believes. When she awakens one morning to find her world completely turned around, she doesn't know how to respond. Forced to address the new life before her, she finds that who she is and the role she plays may not be as tightly intertwined as she thought. *Rated for slight violence* |
