I'm just your atypical teen writing all-too-typical fanfiction. Been a Buffy fan since the end of Season Four, but I've seen every single episode at least twice (with the exception of sixth and seventh seasons, and OMWF in its entirety...), so if you even TRY telling me that I can't be an obsessed and true Buffy fan, I'll stake you, resurrect you, and chop your head off.
Um. After the EXTREME VIOLENCE...
My pen name is Samara Tasarla; the first word means 'guardian' in Hebrew, and the second means 'dusk and dawn', so together I take them to mean 'guardian of the dusk and dawn', NOT 'guardian of Dawn'. In real life I'm a Manhattan/Jersey City punker, not a punk per se because there really aren't that many real punks left. I listen to everything from Circle Jerks, Dead Kennedys, Descendents, Buzzcocks, et al. to opera, including show tunes, sappy singers, and, of course, OMWF. For all you non-Buffy-geeks out there, that means Once More With Feeling, Buffy's musical episode.
My real aspiration is acting, particularly in the theater (because there will never ever ever again be something on television as great as Buffy), like James Marsters, but possibly without the avant garde pretension and the nudity.
I'm obsessed with vamps, which explains the whole Buffy thing, I suppose. I write regular fiction as well, which I much prefer over fanfiction, but my friends here encouraged me to write. Besides, I get to write my NC-17 Spuffy stuff...heh heh...
