Hello! Welcome to my bio! I've been reading fanfiction (Mostly Harry Potter) since way back in '03. I had tried my hand at writing some, but it was crap, so I deleted them. That was a couple years ago. I just recently tried again after reading the 7th HPbook (I was so disappointed by what could have been, but still pleased by what it was), and I was much more satisfied.

I really don't care what kind of 'ships people use, as long as they are well done, though for the actual books, I felt that H/Hr was the only ship that had any kind of realistic basis at all, and was extremely saddened the way JKR abandoned 5 books worth of characterizations just to fit everything into the OBHWF scenario. She assassinated Hermione. It was disgusting. I was also saddened by how HP could have been a real work of art, a masterpiece, and JKR got too rich and too busy to finish it in a way befitting a real fantasy hero. Oh well, Ive never actually talked to the woman, but that was just my impression.

The Scene that Should Have Been is a one-shot written as a response to what I thought should have happened at a certain point in Book 7. I never much liked reading one-shots, but after writing one, its much much easier, as you don't really have to come up with a whole plot, with twists and turns, and witty banter worthy of the HP series. Just ~3000 words of emotion works just fine.
