Author has written 3 stories for Bleach. I suppose I should probably write something here... But what? I didn't always love to read. In fact, I distinctly remember at one point hating it. It wasn't that I ever had difficulty reading, I was just never given a story that I cared about. I encountered 2 books at around the same time in second grade that started to change my mind. One was called Hungry Hungry Sharksand the other was called The Littlest Dinosaur. They were a turning point for me. By sixth grade, I was borrowing my brother's books who is 7 years older then me and was reading Drangonlance and R A Salvator's Drizzt series. As I fell further into the worlds other authors had created, I decided that I wanted to be able to create those kinds of worlds too. I had begun writing in either fifth or sixth grade and continued off and on until my 20's where I pretty much stopped. It wasn't that I didn't want to write anymore, it was that I never seemed to be able to find the time. I still have the story that I started back in 7th grade. I've tried going back and rewriting it I don't know how many times. And there really is quite a bit written. The story isn't bad either. During the last rewrite of it, I ended up changing quite a bit. It still has the exact same beginning though (laughs) 'Saban woke up with a start.' I have a drawer full of stories I've started and never finished. I would like to, one day, actually finish an original novel and get it published. That's why I started writing fan fiction - to get me back in the habit of writing, sharpen those dusty and rusty writing skills and practice. I figured that using characters that aren't mine with one that is mine would help me to get that spark back. And it has. I find myself getting lost as I write and then it's time to go to bed, or, in this case... go to work... Bye for now! |
