Hey, and how is everyone feeling today?... Well thats great to hear, me I feel super. My username is Jottma and I have been an X-Men fan since the Fox Animated Series of X-Men started airing way back in the nineties.

I guess I didn't become a super fan until the first X-Men movie came out in the summer of 2000. After the movie came out I started buying the comics and I was lucky enough to come into comics just the books went through their overhaul to coincide with the film. I am proud to say that I started my comic collecting phase with New X-Men issue number 114, the very start of Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely's highly talked about run on the book. I trully appreciate what this group of men tried to do with their out side of the box story telling. My favorite super hero character of all time is Cyclops/Scott Summers starting with my introduction of the character from the Fox Animated Series but I trully fell in love with the character when Grant started writing him. Grant presented a very flawed Scott who was so effectively real to me that I could only want for him to get his head straight. I guess what I'm trying to say is my love and respect for Scott grew after what Morrison did to him.

This is probably going to sound pretty dumb but I am not a writer. I don't mean that I'm embarassed of my work, I mean I have no work to show. I was the one person in my family unfortunately passed over in regaurds to artistic skill. That being said I love to read fan-fic. I LOVE IT! I have been coming to this site since I discovered it in 2000 and to this day it is the best thing the internet has to offer in my opinon. My other intrests outside of reading fan-fic woul have to be watching sitcoms like The Office, That 70's Show, and Just Shoot Men reruns. I also like comedy movies such as Joe Dirt, all of the Friday's movies, and Coming to America. Back when I was in high school I really enjoyed plaing Hacky Sack with my school mates. My music tastes are very varied but generally I like Pop music of a couple of genres. Some of the artists I like are Kayne West, John Mayer, and R. Kelly. As of right now my album of choice is John Legend "Get Lifted", that disc is tight. I am currently 22 years old and completely unaware of what I want to do with my life but I have a supportive family so I think I'll be alright.
