I’m hotspur, or Elijah! Call me whatever you want, as long as you don’t call me late to dinner.

I’m 17, in 12th grade, a guy, and weirdly into fanfiction? It’s kind of an escape for me; don’t judge me too much. I write to cope with my anxieties and because I think it’s fun, so tbh I don’t care too much if you judge me anyway. I’d just rather not hear about it, an it please ye.

I’ve kind of got a passion for languages and linguistics, especially linguistic morphology and phonetic modes of articulation. Right now I’m working on Hebrew (modern not ancient) and also Quenya but that’s on the back burner for now because college application season is starting and I am dying, but if you're learning either of those and want a language buddy, hit me up.

I can talk the leg off a donkey about Tolkien, Lewis (his space trilogy is amazing fight me), Marvel Cinematic Universe, Megan Whalen Turner, Arthurian legend, the Shakespeare Henriad tetralogy, and Rosemary Sutcliff. If you’re into any of these things I’d love to get a conversation going. And even if you aren’t, hey, drop me a book or movie rec and I’ll give it a shot!

(Yeah, if you’ve noticed that I keep encouraging people to talk to me, it’s because I’m starved for companionship and I’m lonely as all get-out. Please talk to me; I’m insecure and socially awkward and don’t have many friends because I am bad at sports and video games and stuff. Please.)
