Who am I? A college-educated working dreaming outdoorsing female in her mid-to-late-twenties in the Pacific Northwest, Washington State to be specific.

Despite having little published here, I am a fairly active lurker. I mainly use this account for reviewing at the moment, but I also intend to publish a story or two or seven someday. What is it? A Pokemon OC series. Oh yes. I love me some good Pokemon fanfiction. Currently, I have a detailed outline (read: summary of events with some scenes written in detail) for the first half or so of the first arc, and a pretty clear picture of the second half. I also have odds and ends--partial outlines and summaries, short scenes, background information, plotting, etc.--for the other 6 arcs. And, I am actively working on it after a long stint of writer's block! Hopefully I won't lose steam on it, because I am very eager to share it and, yes, get some constructive feedback on my writing.

As for my current lonely story (poem, actually): I wrote The Sparkling Diamond for my high school creative writing class's poetry unit, and it's one of the few things I've written that I don't hate years in the future. I have tweaked a few things since then--a few words, the flow of a couple of lines--but overall it has remained largely unchanged since I first wrote it. The scene that inspired it is the one in which Satine is first seen descending from the trapeze.
