Errrr... me, huh? lessee... I'm a guy (male human being), I was born in Oregon in '81, I graduated high school in '99, dropped outta college in '00, and again in '02. Joined the US Army in '03, and left it in '07... No hard feelings, it's just not my lifestyle of choice. Now that I'm back in the Northwest, I suppose the things I do with my time will change drastically. Still a rabid Gunslinger Girl fan, but I'm working on becoming a true gun nut, and getting back into being a moderate beer drinker (thank the gods I'm back from Germany to the land of beer (Northwestern breweries FTW!). I was almost beginning to think there was no such thing as an amber ale or an oatmeal (much less Russian Imperial) stout; they're convinced over there that no one needs any beer that's not a weizen or a pilsner. Silly Germans). I do already miss real Italian wine, though.

As for writing: I've been trying to re-write Final Fantasy VI's script, fleshing it out as I go (Since 1995... I doubt I'll ever finish, every time I try to continue, I just rewrite what I have). I've also started a tiny little collection of Gunslinger Girl fanfiction.

I'm more of a reader than a writer, really. Case in point: my handle. Taken from the sixth book in a popular fantasy series, followed by the birth year of the character it refers to, in the NE calendar. (asterisk) tries to remove his geek glasses; fails (asterisk. the html ones kept disappearing). First choice of handle: Locke; as in the character from Final Fantasy VI (as apposed to John Locke, or Alain LeRoy Locke, etc...) I think the 'lone wanderer' thing suits me (as if I could pull that one off on a site with so much FFVI fanfic...)
