Haven't posted a whole lot, I know, but I've been writing fanfiction for about four years now, and I think it's finally time to share. Whether you read or not is entirely up to you, but I would be most pleased if you stuck around.

I will warn all of you now that I am a habitually slow update...dreadfully slow. Part of the fact that the greater part of what I write is totally original, and thus has no place here. T.T But I do have a few fanfiction works that I'm proud of, so I'll share that much with the general public.

Outside of writing, video games, fantasy novels, and the general randomness that encapsulates my existence, I'm just a college student, surrounded by cornfields in the American mid-west. I'm studying Japanese pretty darn seriously, spent 10 months in Japan at a university and have been plotting my return ever since I got back in February. :)

I consider myself a pretty devoted Japanophile, but before I even knew what anime, manga, video games, etc were, I was a die-hard bookworm (I still am, come to think of it...), and the only thing I love as much as the Japanese language is English.

So! Here's what I've got so far!

Legacy of Darkness-dark Naruto oneshot. A completely what-if scenario spawned from my friend wondering, "Hey...do you think the curse seal can be passed down like a genetic trait?" My brain had too much fun thinking about that...A lot of people seem to be in favor of me continuing this. So maybe I will...I'm thinking about it more and more...but any real progress on this will have to be made when I'm finished with Silver Light, so be patient, I haven't written this story off completely.

The Ocean's Silver Light: Riku-centric, AU Kingdom Hearts-I was somehow never satisfied with the explanations given as to why Riku gave up his soul to darkness. Was it something he chose, or was it forced upon him? Perhaps a little of both...or so I believe. A work in progress...could possibly be rather lengthy.

Through Glass: Manga-based semi-drabble from real!Syaoran's POV. Yay! He seems to be an underrated character in terms of fanfiction, which is something I'd like to change.

Memories:Final Fantasy versus XIII drabbley-goodness! People seem to have a hard time finding this, since it's in the "Miscellaneous RPG" section, but if you're interested, please go check it out! I greatly enjoyed writing this dark, moody little piece. :P

March 17, 2008: Yup, my soul has been completely eaten. Gone forever. Memorial services will be held at sundown. In honor of this tragic loss, I urge all who are interested to read "Till All Are One" by A Midnight Dreary and leave a nice review. Perhaps you will find echoes of my spirit and essence within the awesomeness of that fic. :P (basically, that's the story that I've been uber-editing for the last 3 months, and I love it so much that even though it isn't TECHNICALLY my story, I'm still going to promote it shamelessly. XD)
