Ahh, who ever thought I could go from hardcore manga junkie to fanfiction.net addict overnight? I certainly didn't!

It was just a few weeks ago, that my cousin, who has been writing stories and remakes of his favorite TV series since he learned the alphabet, was currently working on his personal re-make of CTV's "Lost". But I noticed he had some other tabs open. Ebay, his e-mail, and one with fanfiction.net. I questioned him as to what it was, and he said he'd been writing fanfictions since he turned twelve. Course, I only get to see him like once a year, so I had no idea! On further investigation (my investigation team consists of me, my laptop and a bowl of jellybeans) I found that they had bloody everything on this site. My favorite games, TV shows, animes; everything I love and fantasize about, was taken and changed by different people with great creative minds.

Seriously, these authors on here are on a whole different level. I'd always been praised for my writing, getting the highest average in class, getting chosen as valedictorian when I was in elementary school, and I thought I was pretty great myself. But as I read these stories, these people who can take a simple plot and write 30 chapters on it, changing the story utterly and completely to what they imagined and wanted it to be, fascinated me. Maybe someday, I'll write my own fanfic. See, I'm one of those girls who needs a good ol' taste of "inspiration" before I can use my Full Metal Alchemist pen (

Enough of that shtuff, since I'm basically a newb here, I'll tell you a bit about the incredible and fabulous moi :3

Born and raised in Canada (eh?) my family consisted of me, my father, mother, and my sisters (they're twins and they're my greatest childhood pain in the ass) and we were extreme hockey junkies. Well, they were. Me? No way! Why would I, have time to watch guys bash each other into the sidelines and hit a piece of vulcanized rubber with wooden sticks (Don't get me wrong, I think hockey is great and I respect the people who play and love it) when I could stay up till two in the morning, huddled up in my covers with Nancy Drew, The Call of the Wild, or Huck Finn? Until I started dropping in school, and then one of the greatest tragedies to ever occur in my life walked up to me and said "Whazzup?" and slapped me right in the face. There I was, reading Nancy Drew and: The Sky Phantom (or something, I was in the 50's range, I remember that much.) and my mother, who had not known of this night owl habit of mine until that night, confiscated my precious collection of books and locked them in the basement cellar for two nights. Two nights I had to go without reading. To most people, they would say either "Two nights? Ehh, deal with it, it's not so bad." or "Who the hell gets grounded from reading?" Well, think of it this way. Anna and Kiersten, the tag team of devilish girls who would give me nightmares (nah, they're sweet, it's just when they weren't, all hell broke loose) and they had some sort of secret telepathic twin power to boot, so when they were busy making me pissed off (I'm the older sister, and they would always make me look like the younger one) I would read my books. At times, I thought that the friggin books were better sisters than they were. So, it was like my mother locked my sisters in the cellar for two nights. How horrible!

Anna and Kiersten still, even today, insist that they did things to make me pissed off because it was how they showed me their affection. Oh yeah twinners, hacking into my e-mail and sending all my contacts a video clip of me getting chased by the neighbor's doberman is just the sweetest damn thing, even friggin taking a video of that still blows my mind! :P That dog still appears in my dreams every now and then. And even thought they're still a pain in the ass, I luv em to bits

So my thirteenth birthday came around (I always loved birthdays, mom would bake the best butter-cream frosting cakes, and when dad closed down the family restaurant before I was born, he started working as a sous chef on a luxury cruise ship that traveled, well basically everywhere when I was 2, so he would always bring back sweet ass presents) and the last present I opened was a little HP laptop. I'm not really a love at first sight kinda girl, but when I saw that laptop... Well, it was as if God spat on me when he gave me two creatures from hell as little sisters (lol I love being dramatic ;) and then he patted me on the head and said "Well, it's not a cookie, but I think it's pretty cool anyway."

I named my laptop Samantha (Yes, I name all of my electronics. I named my cellphone Renee, and my iPod Vivi, and so on. So when I say "Get your grubby paws off of Renee!" people know what I mean. Yes, I could have just said cellphone like a normal human being, but this way is more fun :P) and that's when I was introduced, by my friend, to the world of manga. Novels didn't have the stuff these little books had, not even comics that I read did. And once again, I fell in love. I loved the cute expressions and drawing techniques, and the dialogue. Then I was introduced to Japanese bands, music, old customs, and by 15 I wished I was born a Japanese child rather than a Canadian. But that was only a phase that lasted like four months until I looked into learning Japanese as my third language (English and French, y'all!) and I couldn't get the hang of it. So I drew the line at "learning and picking up a few words and phrases in case I ever wanted to earn it again." Which I do now -_-

SO to wrap this up, I'll give you a few more details about me.

*Favorite Games*

Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2

Tales of Vesperia

Tales of Symphonia

Tales of (well, whatever.)

Zelda (name whichever one you want, I assure you, I've played it)

Halo II (Even girls get the urge to headshot shit every now and then ;)

Final Fantasy XIII (Yes I know there's a lot of people who loved it, and a lot of people who said it's not worth the money, but I loved it!

BioShock (Sometimes I think the little sisters in this game are like my real little sisters lol)

...I could list them all, but that would make me look like a total geek...If I don't already.

*Favorite Animes*

Eureka 7 (I first saw this on TV in the english dub, and I thought it was fucking weird, but once I watched the series in Japanese, I thought it was fucking cool)

The Student Council President is a Maid! ("Kaichou-wa Maid Sama" - This would be under the "cute-sy" category, but I think it's adorable :3)

Code Geass (I'm thinking of naming a cat I will soon be getting Lelouch, and I'll call it Lulu)

Soul Eater (It's been a few years since I finished it, but I think I remember it being pretty kickass)

Bleach (I love it, but I lost track of the episodes, and when I took a short break from it, I couldn't keep up @.@)

Naruto (I loved it when I was a kid, but when I checked the episodes, I was shocked to see it's well over 400, including Shippuden. Well, not really, cause it's so friggin popular. Ehh, I did it with DBZ, I'm not gonna do that again. But it still rocks from what I remember!)

Mobiel Suit Gundam Wing (This was the anime I grew up with as a kid. Then again, I didn't know it was actually called anime, and that it was japanese, and...Man, I was dense .)

*Favorite Manga*

Hana to Akuma (HanaxVivi 4 EVAA, I can't help myself with this one, I'm such a bloody fangirl whenever I read this.)

The Student Council President is a Maid! (Same reason for the anime, but I like the manga better cuz it's farther ;)

Love In The Mask (I read this manhwa, and I would highly recommend it. Han Yu-rang is my fave Vietnamese writer, and I'm a huge fan of the series, but it makes me cry Q.Q)

Soul Eater (Again, but I think the anime strayed far from the manga, which pissed me off, cause the manga is SO MUCH BETTER, plus it's still ongoing. Either way, I love em' both)

Nononono! (This is probably the only sports manga I take seriously. Probably because I found the plot so good.)

Hatenkou Yuugi (I absolutely LOVE the story line in this, although it is pretty gorey. But I don't mind :P)

And just for kicks, my most hated manga is Cha Kyung Hee's "Do You Want To Try?" I loathe this manga, mostly 'cause I loved the beginning of it, it had me interested, but it died a tragic death because of the sloppy, idiotic ending. There were too many unresolved issues, and it was just terrible. Don't read this! And if you already have...I feel your pain, brotha'.

Well, that's it for now. Don't worry! I'll update this as soon as I feel pathetic and desperate, and have a need for more unknown people to know about me.
