8/8/2015 - HI GUYS chapter 9 is now up and I should be posting 10 sometime later this month. Also, here is Ariana(miliabyntite.tumblr post/126217424386/).

8/9/2015 - So apparently profile links are broken on FFnet now, that's cool.

1/3/2018 - Happy New Year to everyone, even unwarranted(if well-meaning) Britpickers! The question was asked, "why do Americans insist on using 'Sorcerer's Stone' instead of 'Philosopher's Stone'", and since it was by a guest and I can't reply directly, I'll answer here!

Probably the simplest, most general answer is just that that's what we grew up with. It's the most comfortable.

On a personal note, I'm kind of tired of the question! I know most recent reviewer was only curious, but I've gotten this a Lot and I feel like this question is only posed to us because we happen to also be writing in English. Would these same people pester Basque writers for using 'Sorgin Harria'(which also means Sorcerer's Stone)? The publishers did their thing, and yes, it's kind of a dumb thing, but it's a thing that's over 20 years old now. It's a thing that's been debated back and forth pretty much as long as the fandom's existed. Many Americans are probably always going to use 'Sorcerer's Stone'. If it bothers anyone, there are browser extensions that will let you change all instances of SS to PS! Or you could read other fics! But honestly I'm going to stick to what I'm comfortable with because I'm 1. not British and 2. just having fun. So! That's my stance.

tl;dr, it's familiarity! & I promise I'm not trying to jump down your throat I'm just very tired. I hope you have a lovely 2018!
