I am a 52 year old single mom with 3 grown children, 1 getting there oh-so-slowly teenager, and 2 grandsons. My family tolerates, but doesn't truly understand, my obsession with all things Law and Order Criminal Intent. I only ask that my children pick out a nice home for me.

I have had stories playing out in my head for as long as I remember and experimented a bit in my high school creative writing class. But it never occurred to me to actually write them down until I began to read Judyg's fanfiction story and she told how she had been encouraged to share. So I tentatively began to write one of the stories that was swirling around in my head, which became "By Reason of Mental Disease or Defect". And once I began, I just couldn't stop!

You have NO idea how much enjoyment you have all brought me...both in the show itself and then in my head as stories spin a very seductive web.

I read as much fanfiction as I can find time for. While not a shipper by any means, I do enjoy well-written shippy stories as much as well-written OC stories. All of them fuel my obsession.
