I love reading Stephenie Meyer's Twilight books over and over and over. And I am an avid reader of the fan fictions available online. There are some really talented writers out there. Reading has always been an escape for me. I majored in English in college, and so have read a lot of the classics but I tend to read a lot of trashy romance novels now. That is until my sister convinced me to read the books of the Twilight series. I have joined all the other Twilight Mom's that are needing more Edward in their lives.

"Never Midnight" is my first ever attempt at writing a fanfic. It started out as a way for my sister and I to get more Edward and turned into what I think is a complete story. I am anxious to hear what everyone else thinks about it. Let me know if you like it.

1-15-10 Update

I am kicking around a couple of ideas for more stories, but at this point they seem more like outtakes or one-shots that would be companion pieces for Never Midnight. And yes, Joe Lawyer, if you are reading this, one of them would be taking a stab at Bella's continued fight training.

I am in the middle of reading the House of Night Series right now. Writing something new will probably have to wait till I finish reading the series. But my ideas are starting to scream at me. Maybe I won't be able to wait.

2-18-10 Update

Writing fight scenes is really hard! Joe Lawyer, if you are still with me, training Bella may be up to you. I attempted to start putting my ideas on paper this afternoon without much success. But I will not give up that easily!

4-2-10 Update

Work on my second fanfic is underway! I am trying to pound out chapter three now. I won't publish till the story is well underway. Hey, Joe Lawyer, I think I got a handle on the fight training! Hope it is what you are hoping for.

The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner is awesome, but seriously through a monkey wrench in the fic I am working on. Do I scrap my fic to keep in canon with SM's Bree? Or do I trudge on and ignore some major canon infractions?
