Christine Davies discovers a gold ring in the cellars during a tour of the Opera House and accidentally takes it home with her. Bound to his ring, Erik suddenly finds his spirit trapped in a new place and time. Now he will do everything in his power to ensure that he is returned to his final resting place, even if that means becoming the Opera Ghost once more. Modern AU. E/C

However, this position is called into question when Erik wakes one morning to find that he's been reduced to the size of an ink well. Between himself, Christine Daae, and Gerard, surely some reversal can be found...right?

Erik’s dreams have never turned out in his favour until Christine. While questioning his life choices, his angel returns to save him. The question is wheter or not he will allow her to and give him the dreams he thought to be long forgotten.

Erik worries for his protege, and not just about her voice. When he hears a Vicomte has shown interest in her, he thinks that could be just the thing to save her from a life of solitude. Why would Christine prefer to spend her time practicing with Erik when she could be dating the Vicomte? When her relationship with Raoul appears to be serious, why does Erik feel so sad about that?

Erik owns and directs a decrepit community theater and company. He unwinds by playing to the evening air. One day he has an accompaniment. Inspired by that pianist's request that went viral.

The winter of 1980 was a miserable affair in Chicago. Snow, ice, and a bad case of the blahs have left Christine Daae, music teacher and theater geek, down. Taking on a project to cheer herself up brings a strange and unusual man into her life. E/C, of course, and my annual Christmas story. We all know the story of the masked, musical genius who lived beneath the Opera Garnier in Paris…or do we? What if his early life had been altered in one dramatic way? Or his meeting with Christine had come about differently? And what might happen when his past and present come crashing together in the most unexpected of ways?

Christine is a waitress struggling to make ends meet when a call to jury duty comes as a most inconvenient summons. Though reluctant to participate, she is intrigued by the defendant; a badly deformed man accused of blackmail and murder. Though the world seems to begrudge him his very existence, she begins to feel pity for the accused who is only a man, after all. A man named Erik.

Christine bandages Erik's face after he uses her hands to scratch himself. Characters are not mine.

Erik was never able to escape from his gypsy captors. Ten years later, a violinist and his young daughter join the clan for the season.

"They were a strange couple, the boy and girl who moved in next door." Enjolras and Éponine make it through the revolution, and now they have to live with the consequences and each other. She wonders how he survived the war, while he wonders how to survive her cooking. He's angry because his destiny's been changed, and she's angry because he doesn't know how to be anymore.

"He lets her go and she scurries away, and in his mind Grantaire's sneering because of course Enjolras wouldn't know how to hold on to a woman, even the slips and tatters of one." Enjolras and Éponine find each other in little cracks of time before the revolution, and then once more at the barricade.

Vignettes that follow "When All is Lost." Now that the battle is over, lives must slowly be reclaimed. Complete.

Leroux-based. Christine realizes what it's really like to be Erik's wife. Slowly, she learns that in order to unlock his heart, she must first unlock hers. Her perspective as his living bride. COMPLETE.

Based on the Kopit and Yeston Phantom film, that stars Charles Dance and Teri Polo. Picks up when Christine faints after seeing Erik's face. It's mostly fluff, but a tiny bit of plot has crept in. The fluff, though, remains its raison d'etre. COMPLETE.

Modern day fic. He lives in apartment 5a and he's trying to forget. She lives in apartment 5b and she's trying to start a new life. Two people, two stories and one way forward. EC.

Based on the Robert Englund film. Picks up right at the end, as the credits roll. What happens when Christine hears the street violinist playing Don Juan Triumphant? Warning: this one is fluffy. If you hate the idea of Englund fluff, skip it. COMPLETE.
