Astro Boy: Arm Cannons, Butt Guns, 100,000 Horsepower engine that Astro Possesses, Astro's Super Human Strength, and that he has a mind of his own and does not follow the commands of his creator, Dr. Tenma. Instead, he thinks for himself and feels real human emotions, longing for robots and humans to work together instead of being divided as enemies. His Kokoro, which in Japanese means "Heart."

My Life As A Teenage Robot: XJ-9's Extremely awesome weaponry, longs to be a normal teen, and sensitivity to humans.

Gravity Falls: Mabel's optimistic attitude, creativity, and silliness, and Dipper's ability to solve puzzles, monster mysteries, and his high intelligence which was evident in the episode of The Time Traveler's Pig. Plus I love decoding the mysteries using the three ciphers provided. :D

Now, I do have stories under my favorite animes/shows/movies that have extended dates on them. I have either lost interests with writing them or have no ideas currently for them. But for those who have extended dates on them to this date, are the fics that I most likely won't finish. Any of the fics for this year that are around 3 weeks to 1 or 2 months and is unfinished are the stories I am currently working on. That's just that way fanfiction works. :)

Hello everyone! :) From what it appears, the "Eliminator" Group seems to have been making a real pest of themselves lately, but at the same time, a site member by the name of Carnival Nightsteed has made this announcement (someone else beating me to the punch to speak up on the issue lol, but I have contributed my part!) about the fate of the site if they continue their unethical actions and treatment of the authors on this site. While some of the members of this group have pure of heart intentions to keep the authors abiding by the rules, don't get me wrong, a lot of those "mods" have crossed the dividing lines of helping and hurting. Below is his/her message:

I did my research and your the Eliminator group is verging on violating state laws against bullying which states

193-F:3 Definitions. – In this chapter: I. (a) "Bullying'' means a single significant incident or a pattern of incidents involving a written, verbal, or electronic communication, or a physical act or gesture, or any combination thereof, directed at another pupil which: (1) Physically harms a pupil or damages the pupil's property; (2) Causes emotional distress to a pupil; (3) Interferes with a pupil's educational opportunities; (4) Creates a hostile educational environment; or (5) Substantially disrupts the orderly operation of the school. (b) "Bullying'' shall include actions motivated by an imbalance of power based on a pupil's actual or perceived personal characteristics, behaviors, or beliefs, or motivated by the pupil's association with another person and based on the other person's characteristics, behaviors, or beliefs. II. "Cyberbullying'' means conduct defined in paragraph I of this section undertaken through the use of electronic devices. III. "Electronic devices'' include, but are not limited to, telephones, cellular phones, computers, pagers, electronic mail, instant messaging, text messaging, and websites. IV. "Perpetrator'' means a pupil who engages in bullying or cyberbullying. V. "School property'' means all real property and all physical plant and equipment used for school purposes, including public or private school buses or vans. VI. "Victim'' means a pupil against whom bullying or cyberbullying has been perpetrated. Source. 2000, 190:1. 2004, 205:1, eff. June 11, 2004. 2010, 155:2, eff. July 1, 2010. one of your forum members with the pen name Mr. Perfectionist has been known to give reviews that violate these laws for they upset authors who are most likely in high school. and with your ages non disclosed, it might also bridge upon child harassment if any of you are over 18. The above law is from the New Hampshire law book but most states share similar polices. If just one person complains to an official that one of your groups comments upsets their school environment per 193-F:4 Pupil Safety and Violence Prevention. – I. Bullying or cyberbullying shall occur when an action or communication as defined in RSA 193-F:3: (a) Occurs on, or is delivered to, school property or a school-sponsored activity or event on or off school property; or (b) Occurs off of school property or outside of a school-sponsored activity or event, if the conduct interferes with a pupil's educational opportunities or substantially disrupts the orderly operations of the school or school-sponsored activity or event. You all could be sued. Since the site is designed for teens who are probably in high school or younger, your group would be proven guilty in a court of law. The group eliminator and all its members should cease action in critiquing others and insisting they do certain actions, or there is a good chance legal action could be taken by someone. I don't feel that it is really worth the time but someone could. I also don't feel that it is the job of site members to group up and attack writers.

Here is part of, but most important, my original message on the Eliminator forum that I had to address considering the rules that they said they follow, but was full of logical fallacies:

The Flaming application: This shouldn't even be apart of this group as it provides people who love misery to go and make other author's miserable, especially if they are just starting out on the site like so many of them are. Considering I work with people in group therapy sessions, I have heard stories of how these people make others miserable because they have an inner conflict to resolve. Translation: They make others miserable because they are, not only that, it's a self-esteem issue. While this is the internet and mostly anything goes, the person on the other side of that screen have feelings too. If the rules apply to you, then this should be taken down effective immediately! If you like that no flaming has taken place since April that application shouldn't have existed. [This is considered encouraging harassment and spamming, which is also against the site policy. So if the rules here apply to you guys too, then why are you encouraging harassment/spamming? If authors can't do it to other members, then you shouldn't be allowed to do it either! I'm just not believing the amount of loopholes that this group is trying to find to justify their actions] but be more than happy to correct me if I'm wrong on that. (Thankfully, this has been removed from the group according to ExplodingHead. So that is good.)

So if this has occurred with any of you, you have options, but before resorting to this, Eliminator forum director Exploding Head will take concerns about your complaints/his mods behavior. If you love posting your fics here, you have options, especially if you don't want to see this site shut down because some members can't control themselves. In a lot of states, the government will do this, especially if the Cyberbullying continues, this site being the cluster for it all, and now a days, that is considered punishable by law considering the many lives lost because of bullying in all forms. In my state, they will do it in a heartbeat. If you are against it and love this site, speak up! Not only will we be out of some place to post our ideas, but also they would be out of quote on quote "work" considering they have nothing else better to do with their lives and themselves.

After looking deeper into the site's policies, even though I really need to be working on client files lol, I found this in the terms of service that applies to ALL MEMBERS OF THE SITE, none to be excluded. It states clearly:

[The FanFiction.Net Website shall be deemed a passive website that does not give rise to personal jurisdiction over FanFiction.Net, either specific or general, in jurisdictions other than California. Unless prohibited by local law, these Terms of Service shall be governed by the internal substantive laws of the State of California, without respect to its conflict of laws principles. Unless prohibited by local law, any claim or dispute between you and FanFiction.Net that arises in whole or in part from the FanFiction.Net Website shall be decided exclusively by a court of competent jurisdiction located in Los Angeles County, California.]

So am I to read this right that this group has overstepped their bounds by giving rise to personal jurisdiction over this site, even though the jurisdiction lies with the state of California only? The law is clearly stated in the terms of service in which they made their accounts having AGREED to the policy like the rest of us! So if anyone else backtracks to the Terms of Service and finds this law, do you not agree that what has been going on is AGAINST the law laid out for us here? I know the law and know my rights as a member as well as a citizen of this country. The law is bent for NO ONE! (Check my forum's thread for the info on Cyberbullying as this has been stricken from the record entirely!)

Update 3-2-2014: New Fanfictions Announcement!

Hello everyone! I have some great news concerning a few new fanfiction ideas coming up this year. :) Below is my list. :)

The first fanfiction that I will announce is "Dancing Shadows", a second installment to Behind The Mask. The premise is with Behind the Mask coming to a close in maybe 4 or more chapters, the second segment will focus on someone looking to shatter Pacifica's new found happiness for the death of Rian Brown, a girl that Pacifica bullied to suicide, as mentioned in chapter 22 of Always By Your Side. The girl isn't mentioned, but the suicide area is. With the broken pieces of Pacifica's life picked up, but not all the way pasted back together, happy with her new boyfriend Dipper Pines, and being the cheerleading captain over the Gravity Falls junior high Fierce Wolves cheerleading squad, someone wants to put Pacifica where Rian is, but who could it be? Someone in the girl's family? A friend? Or even someone with connections to Ryan Banes or Johnathon Larson? You just have to read to find out as the first chapter will only give away so much detail, but yet, will give you the entire picture of what to expect for the fic or will it? :D Will be rated T for Blood, torture, and kidnapping.

The second idea, which I believe I mentioned already is "Broken Reflections", a Gideon back story of how he was constantly bullied and teased in his youth and upon his move to Gravity Falls, became the little monster we all know and kind of hate or love, depends on you lol!!! Will also be rated T for brutal fighting, some cursing, and blood.

The last idea that is still in pending mode is Star Light, a trilogy to Child of Destiny and Prophecy's Light. I may or may not write this, not sure yet, but here is the basic premise for the possible fic: In this fic, Mabel has finally reached her future and is living her new status as Queen Mabellita with husband Eric as King Mordecai in the Star Dimension. With Narsus and Cyrus out of the way, things are peaceful and the future is safe right? Yea, no! lol. A new threat is rising and if it isn't stamped out before gaining the power of the Athura family line back to the very first generation, Mabel and Eric's past and future will be wiped out, thus wiping them from existence forever!

I'm still working out the details of this fic as again, it is still in pending mode, not on the active writing list as Dancing Shadows and Broken Reflections are. So those are my fanfiction announcements, but I'm going to wait a bit longer to post Broken Reflections and Dancing Shadows as I want to first finish up my current fics in progress (Nightmare in Gravity Falls will still be going for the time so this won't be done for a while and my story Always By Your side will remain open for a VERY long time lol) and second, wait for the Gravity falls section to kind of fill in more as it has thinned out a bit since the last of the shorts were aired. I know the season 2 wait is kind of annoying, but trust me, it shouldn't be too much longer (and I'm going to make sure of that lol). I may post one idea as soon as one of my fics are done, I haven't decided yet, but you'll find out if I change my mind. :)

Update: 3-5-2014: The Wait Is Over!

Hello everyone!:) I really should be working, but I took some time to provide you all with this very important announcement. :)

In case it wasn't announced on here or anywhere as of yet, Gravity Falls season 2 will premiere this summer! :) Yes, you heard it right people, this summer! Here is the link to Alex's twitter page that confirms it. :)

Update: Disney XD Problems and Solutions

Hello everyone, Alisi Christine here with a proposed solution to your panicking about Gravity Falls moving to Disney XD.

Sometime back in February, it was announced that Gravity Falls and WOY (which I can care less about becuase I just don't get it lol) will be moving to Disney XD. In my opinion, GF moving to Disney XD is the smart move becuase of the all the live action crap that is crowding Disney channel now and I know I'm not the only person who has felt that you are not watching Disney currently is becuase of the no GF slot and I'm not going to lie, I'm not either. I can't even recall the last time I even watched Disney channel, despite my busy schedule. Now if I can say that, that says something. So while the live action 'tween" or teen shows may appeal to some, it doesn't appeal to me or to anyone else that has complained here and on DA becuase all we want is GF and for you Wander fans, that too. Gravity Falls technically had to fight for a time slot just to air on regular Disney and it aired hardly becuase of the crap that is on it now. So I sympathize with the fact that not everyone has Disney XD becuase on some cable/satellite packages, it's rather exclusive, I get that.

Now here is what you can do to keep from missing out on GF entirely since Disney channel decided to give more attention to their non-animated shows. I have seen journal after journal posted on DA that have complained about not having Disney XD and that's ok becuase here is what you can do to take care of that problem. Below is a link that was given to me becuase new episode leaks were posted on this site one week before the episode even aired on television. It happened with season 1 so you know it will happen with season 2:

I left it on the Land Before Swine lol so that's why it says that, but it's the link that can be used to watch the episode leaks before the episode airs on television. Now I am not going to say it will happen with every episode, but for the majority it did with season 1. Just not the season 1 finale for some reason or another. Now considering the amount of money I pay a month for my Direct Tv serivce and considering I have both Disney east/west and XD, I still took advantage of this website regardless becuase I just couldn't wait to watch new eps! XD. So since it helped me, I know it will help you all. :)

Now another solution and if you have access to a computer at any time, please go to Apple.com and download iTunes. The program is free to download, but the eps are 1.99 each to download and 2.99 for HD eps. :) I have downloaded every ep of GF to date so anytime I want to watch an ep, that's where I go, plus I have them on my iPad and iPod touch so I'm covered and never without. This is what you all can do to keep from going without and an episode usually comes out on iTunes the day after it airs on television so again, problem solved.

So you're not without here and if I can find any more resources for you, trust me, I will do just that. :)

Update: 5/18/2014

Hello everyone! :) I honestly meant to get this out sooner, but thanks to my overbearing life of everything I'm juggling at once, it was delayed, but here I am now to spread the news. :)

As most of you know from a previous published update of mine, I will be uploading new fanfictions (GF of course :D) once two of my current fanfictions are complete. From the poll results on my fanfiction profile so far, it appears that most of my voters have leaned towards Gideon's Endgame and Child of Destiny and Prophecy's Light's Trilogy Star Light! as my newest fanfictions. So considering I always listen to the wants/opinions of my supporters/readers/reviewers, I have decided what fics will be posted next with Behind The Mask ending this upcoming weekend and Prophecy's Light ending once chapter 21 is posted in two weeks. :)

1.) Dancing Shadows--For those following Behind The Mask, an announcement was made that Dancing Shadows, the second Installment to Behind The Mask, will be posted once BTM is complete. :) I already began chapter 1 to DS while hyped up on a Mountain Dew Baja Blast sugar rush last week. While I was hyped up on the caffeine lol, I can clearly assure you that I was jittery, not jumping all over the place lol!! I don't get hyper as my body has another way of balancing a large amount of sugar in my system. It's hard to explain, but just take my word for it lol. However, the crashes are still the same. :D

2.) Gideon's EndGame-- This is the story to be posted next after Prophecy's Light ends on one heck of a cliff hanger that is to be continued in Star Light! While I had Star Light! pending in my writing list, deciding whether or not to write it, I have had so many overwhelming demands for it that I just caved lol!!! I am still gathering ideas for the fic, but for sure it will be written. :) The support I receive for my fanfictions from those who support me (And my super busy schedule) means so much to me, you have no idea, but thank you all. :) Even if you don't review, but read is just enough for me. :) You guys are outstanding!

Now here is a preview of Gideon's Endgame while you guys await the first chapter to be posted soon: Dipper and Mabel get addicted to a new video game, playing it day in and day out, even when they are to be asleep and working in the shop with Stan. However, Dipper makes the wish to play the game for real within Bill Cipher's earshot and his wish is instantly granted as the two are whisked away into the game, becoming the main players. However, there is one thing they didn't count on, Gideon being the one controlling the game after making a deal with Bill. While watching the twins make it through each level, Mabel is snatched on his command, which puts Dipper up against every villain imaginable at each level. However, he's not totally alone as he makes a few allies along the way: Mermando, Wendy (or the video game version of her), Soos, Pacifica, and even the gnomes. Trust me when I say, this will be one video game experience neither will forget, especially Mabel when she is trying to escape Gideon. It will be one wild ride folks so hold on tight! :)

Update: 9/9/2014 New Nightmare Coming Up! :D

For those following Nightmare in Gravity Falls, until I can get my ideas straight for the story, as they are all over the place, the fic is on a temporary hiatus until things get straight. I know I left the fic on a cliff hanger for now, but trust me, once I get everything straight for it, it'll be back in the updating lanes with all of my other stories! :) I'm breaking my three fic only rule and starting jsut one more, that being A Demon's Scorn, which will be the only new fic. That is all! I'm not starting anymore until at least two of my in progress are finished. I know I have been given fic ideas, and even given stories to adopt, trust me, I haven't forgotten about any of them and I love you all for giving them to me, but ADSC (A Demon's Scorn) will be the only new fic this year and the others will resume when two of my current fics are done.

Update 10/7/2014: Things do change, as well as tenses! :)

Hello everyone! Alisi Thorndyke here with another update for you all and since the line break doesn't exist once again, then here I am still in an open space, but that's ok. It's not like I have a choice in the matter...But on with the update! :)

In Broken China Doll, I have decided to switch the tenses up from present to past as I forgot how that story is before Behind The Mask, therefore needs to be told in the past rather than the present. The first two chapters of the story will be re-written in the past as soon as I get a moment to do so, but the rest of the story will be written in past so be on the look out for that. :) Behind The Mask was written in the present because it took place in the present as well as DS. Now A Demon's Scorn will be written in the past as well as I have finally gotten the hang of writing in the past as writing in the present has always been my thing. However, Gideon's EndGame will remain in the present along with Dancing Shadows (DS) as those are happening in the present time, at this moment if that makes sense as I am super horrible with explaining things as it is * But none the less that is my explanation behind that. :)

ADS (A Demon's Scorn) will be posted Saturday of this week as the last time I announced it's posting, I was kind of running wild with story ideas and couldn't settle on a date, but this time for sure, it will be posted 10-11-2014! So be on the look out for that.

Update: 10-14-2014: Snippets of Reality

Hello everyone and welcome to another update on my profile that once again has no line break space bar *sighs* I'm not even going to dwell on it, but yet, get to the update itself. As some of you may have noticed that at the end of ADS (A Demon's Scorn) chapter 1, I thanked Evil-Ekat for assisting me in the production of the fic. I have to say, she has more than assisted me, but took my rough ideas and molded them into something great. :) She and I worked tirelessly on the plot of this fic to perfect it between both our crazy schedules to produce what you all see before you now and that will be updated this upcoming weekend. :) Evil-Ekat has given me permission to use Evil Bill in my fic so to help the plot move along. :) So not only has she assisted me, but her plot points for the fic were jsut perfect and I honestly couldn't have done it without her so a round of applause for Evil-Ekat (Evillini lol). :)

Now incase the point or question is raised during the writing of ADS: Wait, isn't this like her fic Reality? Answer to that question: No, it's nothing like Evillini's fanfic Reality. :) While it's the best damn MaBill fic published next to Shattered Star, this fic will be nothing like Reality. While it will have certain points just like reality, believe me when I say, as it progresses, it will be nothing like Reality as I have more sense then to copy another's idea. That's not Alisi Thorndyke's gig or style. She's always been original and that's how she's staying. However, I've had others attempt to copy my fanfics, but I won't do it myself, no. So, I hope that answers alot of questions that may come up or be brought to mind that A Demon's Scorn and Reality are two totally different fics. Believe me when I say that as you will see as the fanfic progresses. :)

Update: 11-2-2014: Official Wrecker! (Update)

Hello everyone and yes, this is the third update without a line break once again...I wish those would be brought back. However this update isn't about the line break, but something that has been going on in my mind since watching the WIR movie, best movie ever made by Disney. :) They really outdid themselves animation, lighting, everything wise! I just can't stop watching the end credit part of the movie or the official video done by Owl City! It's my ring tone :D

Anyway, I am wanting to post a new fanfic idea that has quickly formed in my mind after watching the movie that is all planned out to the very end and I want to give you guys the summary of it. :) Now while I have this idea in mind and will write it, GF will still be in my vernacular until I'm dead and my planned future fanfics and current in progress fanfics for Gravity Falls will commence as planned! That show will forever be in my sights as it is now and forever my top favorite. :) I have plush face pillows of the characters for the love of it all, Mabel having been made first :D So that says something, but this idea has been pushing me to write it and if I don't, well then I'll explode, but here is the summary of the fic and a poll has been posted on my profile for you guys to take when you get the time. Summary below:

We all heard the story of how Road Blasters and TurboTime was unplugged thanks to Turbo's need to remain in the spotlight, but whatever happened to the Turbo Twins after their game was unplugged 15 years ago? After failing to become a part of any new game, the two stumble into Sugar Rush and bring with them a couple of unwanted guests that will threaten the existence and code of the upgraded game if the vicious swarm isn't rounded up in time. Further, it doesn't help that the meddlesome twins have fallen for the president and an old enemy returns to complete his revenge against Vanellope, further complicating matters...VanillaButter pairing!

HardWrapping, who happens to write for the Wreck it Ralph fanfic section, has given me permission to use his OC Prince Garry from the Sweet Tooth Kingdom in his fanfic Sugar Rush: Rival Racing. :) It is a very good fanfic and the best one ever written and read. And the title for the fic is still up in the air too. Should it be Double Trouble or Fight for The Code as literally, the cybug swarm has to be stopped from reaching the code room of the castle as if they reach it, it could spell mass destruction for the upgraded Sugar Themed Game! And it doesn't help that Garry wants both halves of the source code back and will do anything to get it, even if it does mean leading the attack to the code room... VANILLABUTTER ALL THE WAY!!! Sorry Gloyd Orangeboar, not this time lol!! I'm not sure how long ago after the film I plan to put this, but the game got an upgrade after the reset took place, maybe a week later or so, still not sure. But before I write this, I need you guys opinion about it as knowing where to place it is my biggest issue to date. After I know that, I'm on it. :)

Update: 12/20/2014: Behind The Mask TV Tropes!

Hello everyone! Alisi Thorndyke here with some news that I'm still digesting, but was very happy to hear about all the same! My fanfic Behind The Mask is being featured on not just one, but TWO TV tropes. One named the Tearjerker fanfic TV tropes and Dark Fic TV Tropes! :) When I was informed one day this week about this, I was blown away as I honestly didn't think my story would travel this much or make this big of an impact. I'm honestly honored, but without any real words to share for just how honored I am that my fanfic reached this amount of likiness or fame, the words I'm trying to find to use that isn't the word 'popular' as the word turns my stomach! Update 1-28-2015: Where My Life Is Now

Hello everyone! Alisi Thorndyke here with an update on the status of my fanfictions along with why alot of them haven't been quite updated yet. While I never make it a habit to make my life and the events of it public, I believe it's safe for me to let you all know why I haven't quite been in contact online like I use to be as alot has changed in my life. I won't give an entire story, but yet give the synopsis of what's been happening. Other then making sure that my grades in my doctorate program stay top notch as no one wants to pay to see a doctor that honestly doesn't know what is happening lol, I have been taking on the responsibilities that my dad once had for my household when he was alive, but sadly August 4th of 2014, he passed away, which changed my and my family's life dramatically. Nothing has honestly been the same since his passing, but being the center pillar for my family that I am, I am doing the best I can to hold it together while, again, making sure my grades in my program remain high as again, my future plan is to become a doctor. I've also been trying to take care of myself as lately, things have been running high stress lately.

On top of that, I met a great guy last March and this past Christmas, things with he and I have gotten very serious, especially after the ring he dropped on me that I don't take off unless I have to so yes, yours truly is on the line to be wed in about two years provided everything goes as planned between he and I. :) So I have been spending time with him so that our relationship remains solid along with doing what comes with the age of an adult, working. Considering I am making sure my family is taken care of (not a family with kids, but the family I was born into), I have alot going on with me and most of it leaves me exhausted to the point the last thing I care to do is write. I will update my fanfictions, don't worry about that at all, but it may take me a little longer to do it considering how much I have going on for me right now. Boyfriend, job, school, taking care of myself, making sure my family is taken care of and then there is that little gap in space that I would love to call my 'me' time, but yet, I'm not sure if I can call it that anymore, but please people don't panic. I haven't left the site or abandoned my fanfics, that didn't happen as I need my fanfic writing to stay sane, but I haven't been on as much becuase I am contending with alot in life outside of the web. I don't get to be here alot and quite frankly, I'm ok with that to a sense, but yet, there are more pressing matters going on in the world that need more attention. I'm doing everything I can to split my attention between here and the real world and trust me when I say it's not easy, it's exhausting. But for sure, I will update my fanfics in the Gravity Falls fair as I haven't given up on those. Broken China Doll is the next to be updated on my list after Fight For The Code which will be updated Saturday. :)

So hopefully this puts you guys at ease as you now know where I've been and what's going on with me as this is unusual activity for me, but as I said, things did change and I'm doing what I can to keep up with the changes while keeping what I'm use to doing. Again, not easy.

Update: 2/17/2015-- Up close and Personal

Hello everyone! Alisi Thorndyke here with a revelation that might make you all do a double take on the latest episode of Gravity Falls: Northwest Mansion Mystery. Here's what I mean when I say you guys might do a double take. I'm going to post the link to my latest DA journal concerning the latest episode below:

Now, after reading that journal and if you haven't already, please take a look at my story, Behind The Mask. That episode plays so closely to my story, it's not even funny! I came up with the concept of how harsh Pacifica's home life is, but I didn't think that it would be true by any means, but I guess it is. :) The start of the episode and when Pacifica's father rings the bell again to control her so she wouldn't pull the lever runs semi-parallel to my fanfic even though my fanfic never had a bell in it but more abuse. Now while her folks never hit her in the ep, it was still abuse none the less because she was being controlled just like in my fanfic. Now if that doesn't say anything, I don't know what does becuase come on, it's the EXACT same thing! My concept was used in the episode! While another author's story was the basis for the episode over all, my concept was used as well. I don't know whether I should be flattered or freak out, but I know I'm speechless XD Alex has a way of surprising us which is why I have stuck with this show even through the break periods the show had. Kind of makes you think now doesn't it?

Update: 4/8/2015: Still Alive and Kicking!

Hello everyone, Alisi Thorndyke here after what seems like forever lol!!! Yea life has been keeping me pretty busy on the outside I can tell you that and while I've been busy, different story ideas having been prodding at my brain to write, but considering the kind of time I have and have had lately, the new ideas are all considered "future projects", not exactly having a 'for sure' deadline of when they will be written. I wish I had the kind of time that I use to have, but unfortunately, nothing ever stays the same sadly. But enough about the paradox of the time I don't have, let's talk about the time stream I can make time to catch, on the weekends that is lol. But before I get to that, I want to post the sneak peek of the next upcoming installment of my story gala after "Bell" has been posted and that next idea is called Mistake. Considering I'm a lover of Dipcifica, I couldn't resist so expect that hopefully before the end of the month as I am also working on other stories in between times, in which Nightmare in Gravity Falls and Gideon's EndGame will be updated as well soon since my other stories have been. I know I am taking my time with getting to them, but trust me, they will be worth the wait. Don't I always deliver my best? :D That's what takes so long lol!!! Perfection!

Now one of the ideas that have been prodding at me the most is writing a one-shot gala for my favorite Wreck it Ralph pairing VanillaButter (Vanellope Von Schweetz x Rancis Fluggerbutter). Just like my GF story gala, there will be other pairings included in it too like Older!VanellopexRalph (Jawbreaker) and the other characters as I deem fit like VanillaPumpkin (VanellopexGloyd), Jack-o-Lantern (GloydxCandlehead), TwistedMint (Swizzle M x Minty Zaki) and even TaffytaxRancis (PeanutbutterTaffy). Even viewers can request a one-shot they deem fit. I however, will NOT write the following pairings: PeanutbutterPumpkin (GloydxRancis), VanillaTaffy (VanellopexTaffyta) or any other Yuri/Yoi pairing. While I will read it, I will not write it. Sorry, but even I have a limit. So maybe that one will be started around the start of summer (Early May) as that idea has been prodding at me more so than the others so I'm heavily considering it. Maybe then everyone will be convinced that I'm still apart of the site as lately, I've been getting alot of questions about where I've been lately. * I'm still here, but I've been busy like crazy, but come May 10th, things will become considerably more stable and more time will be free for me so I can pick up my writing unless otherwise stated. So do expect the new one-shot gala in the WIR section in the next three weeks. The working title so far is: Schweet Deal. All forms of candy in one candy coated game, you can't get any better than that!

Update: Gideon's ENDGAME!!!

Hello everyone! Alisi Thorndyke here with an update I know you guys have been looking forward to since last year. Yea, I apologize about the delay, but after my father died, things changed for me dramatically, including after learning that I'd be a future bride around Christmas to my fiance. Yea, you can say that my life went from one extreme to another over the past 9 months. Not something I was expecting, but again, life happens.

Anywho, after months of thinking about it and hitting a dead end through everything else I have going on, I finally got the ideas down for chapter 17 of GE, outside of my important note announcement in which that will stay up because seriously, people tend to forget that I have a life outside of the web in which I've seen too much of of real life lately and honestly wish I could take a break from it, but since I can't then again, I'd have to tear my attention between here and real life. Not an easy task, but yet I'm doing it. But expect an update of GE soon through my Wreck It Ralph fanfic updates. I expected the update to be by the end of this month, but with school, work, and wedding planning, it didn't happen as even Fight For The Code will be late being updated, but yet it will be. I just want to make sure that this update, after a long wait, is worth the wait as again, I always deliver my best and nothing less. You guys know that about me, and so expect nothing less than my best. :) I always try to keep the chapters of this fanfic around 5800 words, but I'm not sure how long this one will be. Maybe it will around 5500 like my previous, but we'll see. So after my trip back from Richmond, Indiana from visiting my fiance's family (and I believe being presented with the second ring he promised, not sure, not really thinking on it) that Monday May 4th, I should be able to write that no problem as I truly do miss writing. And you see folks, this is why being grown up isn't always a good thing as life gets tougher lol. No seriously, adulthood isn't all it's cracked up to be. I'm 30, going on 31 next month on the 30th feeling as if I'm 41 going on 52 lol. According to my body anyway lol. That pop in my hip when I stand up isn't a one time thing lol. But over all, do expect an update after so long and thanks for sticking by me and sending in the Favs and follows like you've done. :) I truly appreciate it. :)

And I'd also like to thanks Crumbelina's Sweet Admirer, Exotos, HardWrapping, and a few others for always backing me in my Wreck It Ralph fanfics and even to Evil Ekat for allowing me to use her OC Will as GE's game's control board. :) You guys are seriously awesome! :)

Update: 6/2/2015: Of Course there is a Part 2!

Hello everyone! Alisi Thorndyke here with an announcement that I meant to post days ago, but considering my schedule, it got lost in translation, but here I am now with the latest update on my fanfiction. Well one of them anyway *

While not even thinking about it, a sequel to 'Fight For The Code' will be posted after Fight For The Code is finished, the name being "Secrets Of The Code" (Working Title). After having viewed the footage of her younger years in her father's code box and learning that Garry and Turbo were the reason behind his demise, Vanellope goes in search of answers in her game to find evidence that her father could still be alive, especially after being told that any dead gamer can be regenerated, no matter how much time has lapsed since their death. Considering he was killed when the girl was five years old (going by memory from the previous fanfic), she learns his data is still in the game, but out of her reach. On the eve of her 16th birthday and an upcoming coronation ceremony to be promoted to Queen of Sugar Rush, Vanellope is desperate to find and regenerate her father's code while overcoming every obstacle that dares get in her way. However, help from an unlikely source gives the future queen the hope she needs to complete her mission, but can that source be trusted is what Vanellope will find out!

I mean I'm getting all kinds of ideas for this fanfic already while of course making sure the previous fanfic will be completed first. :) So expect that one to be posted sometime after the previous fanfic is completed and while it is taking sometime to complete the first one, trust me, I'll be sure that it goes out with a bang while of course, leaving one hell of a cliffhanger that will have you all asking questions of what's next, what will Vannie do about her dad, and how come Rancis can't stop staring into his mirror LOL!!! Those questions and more will be answered so be sure to stay tuned!

Update: 6/5/2015: It's always best to Summarize yours ideas! :D

Hello everyone! Alisi Thorndyke here with the summary to the sequel to Fight For The Code, Secrets Of The Code! :) Oh my goodness has this story been piling up in my mind lately and trust me when I say, the ideas for the chapters have been coming in one behind another behind another and Fight For The Code isn't even complete yet LOL!!! But here is the basic premise for the sequel and be sure of one thing, chapter 8 to FFTC will be updated before this month is up and chapter 8 will be one you don't want to miss, trust me! :)

Secrets Of The Code Sequel Summary: After the invasion of Sugar Rush led by Garry, the main memory of the game has become unstable which has caused tremors to ripple throughout the game and having viewed the footage of her father's demise within his code box, Vanellope is determined to find him, having learned that his code is still in the game, but out of her reach. Taking the good news with the bad, Vanellope learns that not only can she bring her father back, but she must do it soon or the game's memory will crash, considering it was his code that made the game's memory stable! Will the future Queen be able to complete the mission or will Sugar Rush be doomed to be yet another game to be unplugged? VanillaButter all the way!

There is more to summary, but I can only provide so much less I risk giving the entire plot away which I don't plan to lol!!! But yes, a sequel is in the making, but the preview within Schweet Deal will give you all what it is I am planning for the sequel! :) Stay tuned. :)

Update 7/12/2015: Life On The Outside

Hello everyone! Alisi Thorndyke here with an update I believe is long overdue. Maybe it is, maybe it's not, but here it is anyway lol!! I've been getting anonymous reviews for my fanfictions asking me to update (despite a few practically yelling at me to do so) and while I have made a note or two in two of my fanfics stating the reason for my slow updates, I'm going to once again state it here as it is most likely necessary. However as I say this, I'm not being malicious or mean as I state this, but I honestly need you guys to understand alright? I'm getting married next year. My relationship with my boyfriend went from dating to engaged so I am preparing for my marriage to him next May 14th, 2016 along with getting my house set up for him to move in after we're married. I know my unexpected hiatus took alot by surprise when it came to my stories especially after my father passed away, I sincerely apologize for that, but as we all know, nothing stays the same forever. But (and this is a huge BUT so pay attention lol) while I am married (when the time comes) and preparing to become a wife, I will still be writing regardless. I am still your authoress regardless of what life brings my way, but I won't be writing as much due to how much planning goes into a wedding. Plus I have school to contend with, my family, and ultimately, my job as my internet doesn't come free so someone has to pay for that lol!!! I am in the process of searching for another job as well so that's a thing. :) And don't forget my other stories in the Wreck it Ralph fan section.

I am so flattered that you all enjoy my writing so much, it really motivates me to continue going, it really does, but I have to contend with real life and what happens with that above anything else. And let's not forget about writer's block and how that can stand in the way of an update i.e Gideon's EndGame's long overdue update when that happened. When my father passed away last year, I did loose motivation for a while for alot since of course, that was my dad. The other half of my gene pool? Yea. I'm still contending with that on a level, but not as bad as when it happened. So I just wanted to let you all know that, but don't worry. Bride to be aside, I will still update my fanfics, no matter how much time it takes me to do so, they will be updated. Slowly, but they will be. :)

So I hope this quells everyone's anxiety/worry/frustration/etc. All of us writers on this website have a life outside of here and while our writing helps you guys out, trust me, we will not leave you guys hanging. :) Especially not yours truly! :)

Update: 8/1/2015: How It All Began!

Hello everyone! Alisi Thorndyke here with a not so serious update, but one that I'd like to share with you all since you've all been such a great audience for my fanfics and being patient with me through my lack of updates. :) I will try to improve the frequency of the updates in the future, but thanks for weathering the lack of updates with me wonderful people. :)

Now even though I announced to you all about me getting married next year, I never gave you guys the proper pic of my engagement ring so here it is since you all have been so great to me. :)

Since I don't have an Instagram, then I posted it on my DA since I'm there just a bit more than I am on here (As so delicately put by those unsavory users on this site who can't seem to not go to my DA and snoop around for whatever reason they have!). Maybe a smidgen, don't quote me on it lol, but the web hardly sees me as it is, but I do try to get on as much as I can despite the many obstacles I have to jump over first like the usual. So there you have it folks, my ring as I didn't want a diamond as they are too standard and every woman who gets engaged gets one so I opted for something different and unique and he delivered. He buys all of my jewelry without me having to say anything :D

Also on my DA, you will find plush face pillows of the Gravity Falls characters with a soon to be new addition, Vanellope Von Schweetz in her royal hair style (yes even at my age I still like plushies, no shame in my game lol), story previews, random seasonal photos as I like taking those too, and much more so take a look around. :) Very soon, I will post my engagement photos and even my first dress fitting as I'll be all dolled up as if I am walking down the aisle that day, but it's a dress fitting so no lol. Update: 10/15/2015

Hey everyone! :) Alisi Thorndyke here! It's been a while since I've updated this I see. Man, I need more vacation days and with that said, that's why I'm here! Having finished my current class (which zapped every bit of energy I had! Why are fall 1 term instructors so evil?!), I will have some time to write and catch up with my GF fanfics, starting with my story gala Always By Your Side. While I do have the next chapter's title already listed, I am afraid that I am going to have to put that off for the time being and replace it with the new one-shot "Brothers", told from Ford's point of view now that Bill has opened the Nightmare realm that threatens to tear the world apart and end it (which I highly doubt, but for the time, lets go with him on it shall we? lol). Writing the AU I had in mind seemed easier than when I tried to write it, but when getting down to it, it was very hard to write which is why the story gala hasn't been updated since April becuase I did my best to post that. You all know my reputation as delivering my best when it comes to my stories and I couldn't very well post something that even I didn't believe in. So I'll be changing the next story's title and posting Brothers instead, now that one shot I DO believe in and it will be posted very soon so be on the look out for that. While Stan enjoys having his brother back, Ford has been less than receptive, but within those final moments, he does regret never reconciling with Stanley, now knowing that he may see him again if Bill does pull the ultimate apocalypse! I'm excited already! However at the end, there is a twist that no one will see coming, again, I always deliver my best! :) I will begin working on it as soon as I come in tonight and get some rest. :)

Also, as a reminder, there will be a sequel to Fight For The Code, named Secrets of the Code. :) Fight For The Code is almost finished and the sequel's first chapter will be posted maybe a week or two after that, not sure yet, but it's coming. :)

Update: 11/20/2015: Ending of the Falls

Hello everyone! Alisi-Christine here with some news that I know no Faller wants to hear and as hard as it will be to digest this, some might take it better than others depending upon how you feel about the news after you receive it. I'm taking it better than I thought I would considering my biggest fanbase are from my GF fanfics alone, which will continue BTW.

Maybe not even a full hour ago, Alex Hirsch made the announcement that the second Season of GF is the last and while the show isn't being cancelled, it is being finished. Now that doesn't mean that the already aired episodes won't play in syndication (re-runs), which will happen until the networks remove it, but there will not be any more new episodes for fear that the show will lose its spark like many shows already have. For example, Adventure Time has so many seasons, it's technically on the back burner, Regular show never gets tiring for some, but it's kind of running on empty for me, and Spongebob, don't get me started PLEASE! I don't even watch the show, but I am hearing how terrible its gotten with each new ep. So look at this as a good thing instead of a bad thing. Everyone good? Okay here goes.

There’s no easy way to say it so I’m just going to say it: Gravity Falls is coming to an end. There are two more episodes left: “Weirdmageddon II: Escape from Reality” and “Weirdmageddon III” which will be our hour long series finale. After that, Gravity Falls as we know it will be over.

I know how tough this will be for many fans, and I feel you guys. But before you start sending me .GIF’s of pitchforks and torches let me explain.

The first thing to know is that the show isn’t being cancelled- it’s being finished. This is 100% my choice, and its something I decided on a very long time ago. I always designed Gravity Falls to be a finite series about one epic summer- a series with a beginning, middle, and end. There are so many shows that go on endlessly until they lose their original spark, or mysteries that are cancelled before they ever get a chance to payoff.

But I wanted Gravity Falls to have a mystery that had a real answer, an adventure that had a real climax, and an ending that had a real conclusion for the characters I care so much about. This is very unusual in television and a pretty big experiment, and Disney for their part has been enormously supportive. I know that hits are rare in this business, and its hard to let one of them go, so I’m so grateful that this company has had the vision to let me start (and end) the show the way I always wanted to.

Why did we wait so long to announce that this was the last season? The truth is, it wasn’t up to me. Before we started Season 2, my writers and I decided that this season would be the last. I wanted to announce this to the world at large then, but I was restricted from doing so, mainly because I think a lot of people were hoping I’d change my mind.

But Gravity Falls was never meant to be a series that goes on and on forever. It’s meant to be an exploration of the experience of summer, and in a larger sense a story about childhood itself. The fact that childhood ends is exactly what makes it so precious- and why you should cherish it while it lasts.

No words can describe how grateful I am for the millions of fans who have cherished Gravity Falls for the time that it’s been on air. Running a TV show, especially one where you write, direct, supervise, and co-star, can be an incredibly grueling experience. But every hand-written letter, tweet, tattoo, piece of art, costume and creation from the fans made this enormous undertaking worthwhile. To the Gravity Falls fandom- I love you guys. You’re weird and clever and smart and curious and have been a constant inspiration to me and the crew. You’ve picked us up when we felt down and pushed and inspired us to do the best work we possibly could. I hope you enjoy watching our finale as much as we enjoyed dreaming it up.

And if you don’t, keep it to yourself pal! Yeesh!

So while this is the end of the series, don't look at it as a bad thing and that the show will be so totally over that no more fanart, re-runs or even new fans won't appear becuase I can tell you they will! Now from what I understand, Alex is creating another cartoon aimed at an older demographic in the future, but after a much needed vacation so that is something to look forward to :)

I'll still continue my GF fanfics so long as I have the energy and life to do so. :) The author that provided so much for you guys to read will keep going until each of my fanfics are complete, Wreck It Ralph included as the sequel to Fight For The Code will be posted not too long after the first installment is complete. :) So it looks like you guys are stuck with me, sorry LOL!!!

Update: 1/18/2016: New Paraprofessional Job!!!!

Hello everyone, Alisi Thorndyke here with some exciting news to share with you all! :) Wait, I haven't updated this profile since November? Holy user! I'll try to be more active! lol!!

While my news may not be exciting for the rest of you, trust me when I say it involves you guys too. :) I finally found a new job with higher pay and with flexible hours and benefits! :D What does this have to do with all of you you maybe asking, well keep reading and you'll find out. :) While I do have another job with flexible hours, I will still have time to write my stories that you guys enjoy reading so much while finishing up my last year in my doctorate program :) Plus being a paraprofessional, I am entrusted with working with students with disabilities, a job that I am really glad I was blessed with becuase that really hits home for me. The paperwork for said job was not user friendly in the least, but thank user I finished it and will begin working right away. :) So you all will still see lil ol me, but most likely within the time frame I am here anyway so technically nothing changes lol.

Another thing that I want to announce is that with Fight For The Code's upcoming chapter 15, that chapter is another thing that is close to my heart as it involves the spirit of a loved one watching over the one who is the pillar of their family. I won't spoil anything, but lets just say that my father was the inspiration for that chapter and as much as I tried, I couldn't help but cry a little when writing it. While I am done with the area of the chapter that was the hardest on me to write, you will understand in the author's note what I mean. I have to write that before I nod off for the night. While my dad and I didn't have the best relationship, I can't tell you guys how much I miss him as his death was untimely and at the absolute wrong time. However, I know everything happens for a reason and therefore, I know my dad is watching over me as I go through this life, taking care of my family as I am the pillar for my family of origin and the one who is holding them all together. It's a thankless job, but someone has to do it. :) I still struggle with his death sometimes, but for the majority, I have accepted it for what it is.

Update: 2/1/2016: Sequel Coming REAL soon!

Hello everyone! Alisi Thorndyke here on the first day of February with an announcement about my upcoming sequel to my Wreck It Ralph story Fight For The Code! :) As you all know, most sequels take some time to put together and publish, but I have good news for you all regarding mine. I have already come up with chapter 1 to Secrets Of The Code while on my job for the past two weeks and it will be published in March! :) The first chapter will be called Secrets of the Future! Just as I was extremely excited about the first story (and I still am and will miss my baby once it is completed. I poured my heart and soul into that story), I am very overjoyed about this one as we get to see and explore a bit more about Vanellope's personality and fighting style in this second story. :) As the summary of this sequel stated, she is on the hunt for her father's code throughout the game and she will stop at nothing to get it, as even the worst of evil won't stop her! :) She needs his code to stabilize the memory of the game becuase without it, well you guys know lol!! However, I am still torn between putting the story in her point of view entirely or maybe have the first and last chapter of the story put in her point of view. Still deciding, but for sure, I will ensure it is the wild ride Fight For The Code was and Secrets of the Code will be! :) You all know that I always deliver my best and won't give you guys any less. :)

Now as far as my GF fanfics go, I am still working on those updates as we speak and will continue them as planned as nothing has changed. :) So as far as my GF fans go, do not worry, my GF fanfics will continue as planned despite the time crunch I am facing with my wedding steadily approaching in 3 1/2 months. That time just flew by didn't it? lol!! Last Feb, Eric brought up marrying me, then we began going over what our wedding theme would be, then May came when he actually proposed, and then the planning went into full swing and then we're back here again putting the finishing touches on everything for this upcoming May. It's like living on the face of a clock lol!!! But do not worry everyone, I'm still alive and kicking and will continue my craft for as long as there is breath in my body! :) While most of my energy seems to be going into my Wreck It fanfics now a days, trust me, Gravity Falls is right up there with it. :) I promise you all that! :)

But now I must get going. I have work this morning at 7am. Ugh! Mornings...

Update: 2/17/2016: Context Rework and Saturday's update!

Hello everyone! Alisi Thorndyke here. An exhausted version of her anyway to tell you all that when the finale of GF happened, that really threw off the context of DS, but I think I have a way to rework it all so the story can finish strong. Bear with me on this one.

While Bill is dead and pretty much trapped in stone in the series, the Bill in DS is actually helping the twins and have an alternate fate at the end of the story. No death, no killing, no dementia, nothing lol. I am still working it out, but know that he is not going to die for being the bad guy. I'm telling you guys, after seeing that Bill was encased in stone, I freaking couldn't take it. I grew to love that demon so imagine how badly that hurt. Instead, he has a much sunnier fate that I am still processing for DS.

Now the area surrounding her parents selling their estate, that's the biggest trip at this point becuase in DS, her father still has the house they always lived in. After realizing the huge help Dip has been to Pacifica, Preston (rather Bill in my story considering we found out Preston's true name after my story was like half way into being written) changed his ways and has been much friendlier towards the towns people and Pacifica. However, my original idea was to go from when the portal tore up the city and I may still go from there, but I want the story to catch up to the rest of the show. However, I may deviate from that and stick with my original plan. Pacifica's mom is already dead so what remorse can she show from all of this? lol!!! I may keep the story line it at the following:

1.) Preston staying where they always lived even after the end of the series

2.) Bill sticking around after his helping the twins, his fate unknown at this point

3.) We see more Ford (as he is another one that I came to enjoy seeing)

4.) Dip getting everyone involved to save Pacifica and they making sure the two have a happy ending (Ford included who will tease Dip every chance he gets lol)

5.) Still working it out lol!!

So while the story is on a short stall right now, trust me when I say it will continue. I just kept getting thrown with each new ep coming up and now that the finale happened and we all cried (Bull crap if any one says they didn't), I have to rework the context from where I left off, but it will continue. :)

As for my Wreck It Ralph fics, those will continue too with Fight For The Code chapter 16 going up hopefully this weekend. Chapter 16 is the last chapter for the story with Secrets of the Code being started next month. :) So please be on the look out for that. The current class I am in now has worn me down to the point all I want to do is sleep. Work too. I love my job, but 7am-2pm are some tiring hours. However, this class ends next week with a YIPPE KAI YAY!!! from me XD Ethics -_-!!! If you see the title, RUN! I don't care if it looks interesting, jsut run and spare yourself!

But that is all for now. :) I have been looking at my computer screen all day due to homework for this one class and my eyes are tired. However, I strained my eyes just a little bit more for you wonderful people. :)

Update: Getting It Together Now! :)

Hello everyone! Alisi Thorndyke here with some news I know alot of you have been waiting to hear for some time now. :) Dancing Shadows chapter 11 is in progress as we speak and is 1600 words in and counting. :) I began working on it early this week despite the rough patches I seem to be hitting consistently, the biggest one being that we now have to find a new pastor to perform the ceremony becuase I'm not religious! Fully of crap I tell you, but I am navigating my way around these bumps in the road as best as I can. However, mark my words, in two months I will have my last name hyphenated! So writing this chapter currently is helping me to work out my frustrations of everything that is taking place. A dark story for a dark spot in my life, yea, it's fitting.

Now when the chapter will be out, I'm aiming for this Saturday, possibly Sunday, but don't take my word for it. I have alot of ideas for this chapter and hopefully I get to write them all out without ANOTHER bump in the road that I can't seem to avoid. That would be why my stories (not including my wreck it ralph fanfics) are so slow being updated becuase of everything I am doing to prepare for my upcoming wedding and then dealing with earning my Ph.D in Neuroscience, life, and my jobs. Yes, I finally have another job as mentioned in an above update and am still working at the university I was at since 2012 as a full time SI instructor. So I'm doing alot, but my writing keeps me grounded. I would be probably half insane without my stories lol!!! Just a prediction, but just know that DS chapter 11 is coming and very very soon! After that, I'll be working on chapter 2 to Secrets Of The Code with a chapter that will really gets the story going! :)

Update: 4-28-2016: The Next Stage!

Hello everyone! Alisi Thorndyke here with an important update unlike any other posted! :) As you all know, I am getting married next month and the coming weeks are going to be super busy! Making sure my bridesmaids are all suited, the caterer has the exact number of guests correct, ensuring my own dress doesn't need any more adjustments, and much more! Especially my bachelorette party! After the wedding, my then husband will be moving in with me from three hours south in the same state and considering how much he is moving into my house, it will most likely take me all of May to ensure that he is settled in properly while of course, still tending to my life. As you all know, I update my Wreck It Ralph fanfics every month (with the exception of Schweet Deal, which I am working on like everything else) and I will try to make chapter three's update for next month after this month's posting regardless of what's going on. Even while I'm married, I'm going to still write becuase it is my outlet and without it, bad things will happen to the population LOL!!! No seriously, I just need it as it is something I've been doing since I was young and can't imagine not doing. Sure it's taking me longer to get around to it now a days due to how busy my life is, but I still do it as you can see. :) Until there is some reason beyond my control that I can no longer write, you all will get the update about that, but until then, you're stuck with me! :)

Now alongside this update, expect an update to DS this morning! :) I finally finished the chapter after a month of working on it around everything else I have going on. Let me tell you, 7am-2pm are not bad hours to work, just tiring! All next week I am working like mad so expect an update to Secrets of the Code either by the 16th or the 23rd, the latest, April 30th. But I will certainly aim for sooner. :) You guys are awesome for sticking by me while I deal with life and it's crazy route! But this is adulthood, get a good look now becuase once you get here, there's no turning back! lol!!

Update: 5/3/2016: That time has come and more!

Hello everyone! Alisi Thorndyke here with some news that should have been shared sometime two weeks ago, but everything else was on my mind during that time. Plus I am hardly home now a days too. But here it is: Do you guys remember when I stated earlier this year around Jan 18th about my new job? Well I got a job promotion last month to a corporate position so I am working everyday with long hours included! lol!! However it is more money for me as, I stated before, my internet does not come free. But, but with my corporate position, I'm still hanging around here, just not as much as I would like. I am trying to get get around to all of my stories as I can, but a few of them are going on hiatus at the moment. Those being: Gideon's Endgame, A Demon's Scorn, and Nightmare in Gravity Falls. Now while those stories are on Hiatus, they will be continued, believe me. Just not right away since things in my life have taken a drastic turn, for the better might I add. :) The good thing is after getting married, which is just next Saturday (How time flies), I'm going to wait a little while before having children becuase I can't work like I am, deal with my busy life, my new husband, and my hobby while having children. Some people can do it, but I can't lol!! I barely have energy as it is the way I'm working lol!!! As I said, 7am-2pm are good hours, just tiring as I am not a morning person. However, the job has perks so I can't complain too much. :D

But as stated, the stories on hiatus will be continued, just not right away. So hopefully I don't get bombarded with questions and demands becuase as I stated before, I will not answer what this profile already listed. But this is all for now.

Update: 5/18/2016: Now a Mrs! :)

Hello everyone! Alisi Thorndyke here with an update I'm sure you all saw coming. Maybe you did or maybe not, but here it is. Yes, as of Saturday at 2:30pm, I am now a Mrs, no longer a Ms or plain Alisi Thorndyke XD The ceremony video and photos are posted on my DeviantArt for all to see if you're interested. I couldn't hold back sharing that with you all since you've been so patient and caring concerning my stories and myself when it mattered. So when you guys get a moment, please have a look as the video is 18 minutes long so if you've got 20 minutes, enjoy! :)

Now as far as my updates go, I will still do my best to stick with my monthly schedule with my regular updates as I'm not quite settled into married life yet and the new husband is away for the week to handle some business in his old hometown down south. He will be returning this weekend so expect me to go missing lol!!! Not only that, while he's away, I'm working on chapter 3 to Secrets of the Code as we speak as that chapter is really bugging me to to finish so that should be out by Saturday, the latest Sunday morning. While alot of you know how much of a life I have outside of here, I appreciate your understanding as nothing stays the same forever. I came to this site as a writing teen and as an adult, things changed and now, I'm taking on a new role in life. But regardless, I'll still be here when I can be. :)

Update: 6-24-2016: Coming up to speed

Hello everyone! Alisi Thorndyke-Carter here with an update I should have posted the moment I felt like this, but at the same time, better late than never. :) And no, it doesn't concern my not writing anymore becuase unless I am physically incapable of doing so or something happens to all of my electronic devices, I believe I'll still be doing so XD

I know I have been so absent from this site as well as DA since I've been married. I know, but as I promised my followers on DA, my activity will pick back up again as I'm still settling into married life and once I become accustomed to it. My husband and I have been fixing up our room (aka love nest) and let me tell you, it has been some journey. Lets jsut say his truck, a storage unit, and alot of rearranging have been taking place since the wedding. We even have a bookshelf in our room now XD And I've always wanted one of those XD But I promise to return and become more active once everything has settled for good. :)

I am still working on Schweet Deal's chapter 8 as I'm trying to perfect Calhoun and Felix's relationship after their wedding. It's alot harder than I thought let me tell you, but I'm still working on it. And Secrets of The Code chapter 4 will be up today as I finally got that done. :) Chapter 5 may take me a little longer to write considering there will be more activity going on in the chapter, plus I have no idea how I'm going to end it at this point. But like everything that seemingly hangs ten, it too will work itself out lol!!!

Update: 10/6/2016: Catching Up With Life!

Hey everyone! Alisi Thorndyke-Carter here with another update. I see I haven't been here since June 24th. What could I have been doing? XD Anywho, I meant to post this sooner, but too much crap has happened between then and now, including attending two universities for two separate classes.

Going into that, I have been attending my old university for a First Aid/CPR/AED class for re-certification that I need for my new educational psychology doctorate program (Ed.D). Yes, I left the Organizational Leadership Ph.D program this past August becuase I grew tired of their stuck up, haughty, 'I'm better than the next person' attitudes so I finally joined a program where I fit in and can use my medical knowledge. :) I urge anyone that if you are going to graduate school and unless you like this environment, do not join an OL program! I repeat DO NOT!!! That will be the biggest mistake of your life! I already spent over $24,000 dollars for the two years I was there. It was not worth it, trust me when I say that! Stick closely to your interest and you will be fine! The only good thing to come out of that program were the easy grades I got and the transfer credits for my new program. That was it. Hey, I had to make use of it somehow.

After leaving the OL, I joined the Educational psychology program and have been juggling that class with my CPR/First Aid class at my old alma mater ever since. However, both classes come to an end next week, both A's, which will give me some down time to rest and catch up on whatever I'm missing fanfic wise. I am in the process of working on chapter 10 to Schweet Deal and chapter 7 to Secrets of the Code. Both chapters will be something else, so look out for them lol. Plus I have been interviewing for another job, having left my corporate job back in July. That company was another example of haughty attitudes I can't stand, especially towards someone with my credentials. A medically educated woman is their worst nightmare, I'm letting them have it. So I will begin working soon with only one class starting at the end of the month in my new program. So if anyone was looking for me/wondering about my whereabouts, that's what's going on. Life as usual lol.

Update: 1/6/2017: Getting Back to Life...somewhat lol!!!

Hello everyone and Happy New Year! Alisi Thorndyke here with an update on the constantly changing way that is my life, especially now that the holidays are FINALLY over. So from last year's change from just about everything, excluding my marriage, I have once again changed jobs. Yes, that has been a trend lately as you can tell and the hours of my new job are early morning. 5am-9am to be exact while at times 6:30am to 9:30am. I know many people shudder at the idea of these hours for working, but considering I'm a night owl anyway, these hours work out perfectly for me so I can enjoy the rest of my day. Along with that, I am back to school as of Monday morning, ending my first year of my program and going on to my second year with next year being my LAST year before I graduate a doctor! :D Yay!!! I'll be millions in debt, but it was done for the good of my life damn it! XD Now while not speaking too far ahead of myself, the program I'm in now summarizes my Psychology bachelor's and master's programs, therefore not too much hard work which still leaves me time to write. This program is more of a summary and refresher from previously learned knowledge in previous programs. Yes, in Secrets Of The Code, Vanni will surely be reunited with her father lost to time at the end. I'm just not saying how it happens, but it does XD So this trend sets the tone for the of the year unless I change jobs again lol!!! Let's hope not.

Update: 4/30/2017

Hello everyone, Alisi Thorndyke here with another profound update. You're probably tired of seeing these and want to see more updates out of yours truly lol. Trust me, I want more than anything to give that to all of you too, but I do have one heck of an explanation for my absence starting with after January's update. I know I've been rather MIA from the site as my updates normally come once a month for my WIR fanfics, but due to so much taking place since my last update, life has taken a huge turn for me! Again! The job I recently mentioned, I had to quit due to the backwards politics that were going on in upper management that caused me to not only lash out at everyone around me, but sent me into a depression. Thanksfully it didn't last and I was back on my feet within the next day or two thanks to my loving friends and family, husband included. :) Two days later, a good friend of mine got me a job where she works that has more responsibility, more support, great supervisors, and I am FINALLY doing what I have gone to school for all of these years! Plus the pay is incredible! :D I am a full time Home Based Health Care Worker/Case Manager, working with the case loads of those with developmental disabilities/delays. From total care to high functioning. :) Yes, it is alot of paperwork, but that's what I love about it. I may sound crazy, but the paperwork is the best part of my job since I am so detail oriented with the patient files. Since I have started this job, I have not been able to tear myself away from it, even when I'm off the clock lol. Sometimes my supervisors have to tell me to go home lol.

Aside from that, I have been struggling with chapter 10 to Secrets of The Code which is why the update will not be up until the first weekend in May. I wanted it to be out at least by today, but that did not take place not just becuase of my work schedule, but also due to not having enough time to put coherent ideas together for it. I am still working strong on the story, don't any of you worry, just like with Dancing Shadows, but work and school come first before all else. Vanni will still be in for that surprise at the end of the story that will have a possible 3rd story, depending upon how tired I'm not lol. With the way I work now a days, that's a strong possibility I'll be tired lol, but I'm trying to keep up with everything as best as I can. Since my hours for my job are afternoon some days, and mornings like two days a week, I can do my writing and school work around my job, except for when I have to bring files home to work on them. Then it's just the school work lol. But I am trying, trust me.

So just to assure you all, I'm still alive, just very busy and running on a tight time table. But the next update to Secrets of The Code will be out soon. :) And for those whose stories I still need to read and review, I plan to catch up on those soon as well. :)

Update: 8/10/2017: Yes, that did happen!

Hello everyone! Alisi Thorndyke here with a plea of please don't kill me! XD I know it's been a while since I updated Dancing Shadows, the next installment to Upgrade Mix-Up, and even the next chapter to Secrets of the Code. Trust me when I say I am on it, but several big milestones changed a few of the plans I had for not just my writing schedule, but for my life.

In my update back in April, I stated that my education took me where I wanted to finally go and it did, but after presenting my research for my program at the school's residency weekend back in June, I made residency doctor status! :D It is weird how my school works, but like all residents, you have to go through the clinical trials and exams after taking the program's core classes before becoming fully licensed. Let's not forget about the medical research that follows suit! At this point and outside of working, that is where I am at the moment. I got my lab coat, title, and official picture that is sitting next to the other residents that will be using their Ed.D doctorate in the medical field after graduation. The educational psychology program's Ed.D has numerous areas in which the doctorate candidate can chose to use their degrees after graduation such as teaching, research, and field work. Mine just so happened to take me into the medical field researching the brain's Executive Functioning and it's relation to Neuropsychopathology. But once more and as I stated before, I will get these updates out, I will just have to do them around my new residency status and the current job I have. But be on the look out for Secrets of the Code chapter 11 this month! :) The other updates will surely fall into place once I get my break from school :D

Update: 5/7/2018: Systems Upgrades and Burnouts!

Hello everyone, this is Alisi Thornyke here stating, no more apologies for my late updates or even being absent from the web. The reason: there is a lot happening right now that is out of my control and that includes the need to rest my mind and body after a long days work. If you noticed the new title area of my profile as of 6/25/17, I am officially a resident doctor and all that entails. The hospital rounds, the admissions of patients, the isolation of patients who require special attention if needed, the continued school work that accompanies the hands-on work at the hospital(s) assigned. Then there is my outside job that is keeping me on my feet and now my husband and I are looking for a bigger house due to this upcoming fall, I finish my last residency, take my competency test and hopefully pass with flying colors. With that out of the way, we will begin planning for children in the very near future. In addition, next year, my program wraps up with my graduating with hopefully honors as I am maintaining a pretty high GPA throughout all of this, hence my being absent from here and the web as a whole. Once the dust clears from school, yours truly intends to have a few little ones, which won't stop my writing. :) Being a first time mother will be a bit challenging, but I always manage to balance things out so I will continue my writing until I am not capable of doing so anymore. Since I see no foreseeable actions at this time preventing such, then continue to expect my updates. Maybe not in a timely manner, but they will still be coming none the less.

If any of you have the link to my DA page, a full picture of my residency photo is up in a journal from what I believe was last year. Plus with my program wrapping up, I am searching for a better job that will accommodate my new family when the time comes as is my husband. I don't know why him as he has a great job now, but he wants more I guess lol. He states he does not want me to have the burden of working, but as a doctor, I will be doing my job and helping those with developmental disabilities who use VOCA devices and speech therapy to improve their speech. BCBA in other words. I will continue to do my part in the working area of our marriage and he respects that as I am not going into debt student loan wise only to not use those degrees. That's one argument he does not want to engage me in lol. Trust me lol.

But that is the latest from yours truly and chapter 13 to Secrets of the Code has been started, but with school starting back today and my having my final research to continue working on, expect an update hopefully next month as the next few months will be the busiest as I have my comp test to prepare for, my last rounds to make, demonstrating I know how to handle neurology and neurosurgery cases and referrals, and finding that perfect home for my family. Keep me in your thoughts yall becuase this will be one heck of a road to travel!

Update: 8/18/18: It has gotten real!

Hello everyone, Alisi Thorndyke here stating, it has gotten real! Ok, from the above update, things with me have honestly narrowed down! The upcoming and final residency is around the corner and I have been so busy with that. The house hunting is all squared away as in my husband and I are approved to move into any house we want. :) The two jobs I were holding, now only one, the hospital job and the responsibilities are all the same, but I have two titles now, behavior clinician and resident. Due to my background in Neuroscience and Neuro-anatomy, I consult patients who need neurological, bordering on psychological services while still helping to admit patients as well as discharge them. No, I am not a psychiatrist! Why would I do that to myself? lol. The neurology and neurosurgery cases have been tough, but I demonstrated enough competency to pass each one given to me! :)

I know you are all probably wondering, what is this woman doing and why are her updates taking so long? Well being a resident is not all I do anymore and I work upwards to 2am some days and do not get home until about 3am. When I get home, I just climb in bed after checking email, but with my current class over (oh yes, there is still class work to do on top of everything else), I will have enough time to work on Secrets of the code chapter 13. I had to think about which chapter number for a second becuase it has been that long XD Sorry yall! But as stated, everything is narrowing down for me as I am so close to reaching that final goal! Once more, keep me in your thoughts and I will know if someone is praying against me! Oh yes, I am that good!

Well off to bed with me becuase I have work today until 9pm and Sunday I am off! :)

Update: 11/3/2018: Standing Above it All

Hello everyone, Alisi Thorndyke here stating that yes you read the heading of my profile correctly. I passed my competency exam back in September and have earned my title in the Neuropscyhology division as Dr. of Neuropsychology. My current occupation has been combined with the second job I was holding as a behavior clinician so now I test, diagnosis, treat, and write treatment plans for those who's testing reveals a need. So in a nutshell, while I will still continue my writing (I need it, it's my outlet after a hard day's work), it may take me a while to update due to finally being where my final goal has landed me and yes, this degree is my final goal. :) While chapter 13 of Secrets of the Code is complete, I'm going to squeeze in beginning chapter 14 sometime this week so I'll at least have a head start on it despite what comes my way. :)

The new house is still underway, which is another reason for my chapter delays, but that's another story for another day. I just wanted to quickly update you all on that!

Update: 3/6/2019: So EXTRA!

Hello everyone, Alisi Thorndyke here with a long overdue update on my life. First in the announcements is the accelerated pace my life has taken. Not only am I Dr. Alisi Thorndyke at this point, but my assignments as a Neurodevelopmental Specialist has me on the run to see patients consistently! After finishing the Neuropsychology program, I decided to specialize, which is alot tougher than the title suggests, let me tell you. I landed the job of my dreams (so far as I am seeing), which has me on the run consistently. The current chapter of Schweet Deal is just about complete and while the chapter is centered around Christmas and should have been posted last holiday season, look to it for this holiday season as at the end of last year, I was beyond exhausted due to how tiring the entire year was! Situation after situation popped up and that just wore this woman down! The chapter should be posted soon once I clear a few things out of my schedule so I can properly finish the ending. :)

Secondly, I am consistently running from research paparazzi! In my particular field, we are required to write articles and have them published in whatever journals we are interested in. That is another reason for my absence as I assume I am doing too good of job with my research and every journal and conference program manager is hunting me down! Five of my research works have been published in Neurology journals and conferences and let me tell you, those publishing fees are a mess! Everyday I open my email, I am viewing an email from a journal that found my research from a previous conference and they are hounding me like crazy to publish my work with them! On my Facebook page, it is even worse! My Master's thesis was even created into a book last year! With so much going on, believe me, I am always thinking about writing. I just need to find clearance so I can and finally put the chapter up to match the current summary. The chapter to be posted after the current one is linked to Ralph breaks the internet and I cannot wait to write it! The current one is also linked to the second movie. I even started chapter 14 to Secrets of the Code so I am trying in between so much right now!

Third and final, to fine tune my skills as a specialist, I entered into a certification program to back my skills and knowledge in Neurodevelopment. Outside of the degrees, sometimes you have to go extra to be more marketable in the workforce becuase it is competitive! I will list the program in my list of educational endeavors above.

But that is all for now and once things slow down dramatically for me, I will have those chapters posted becuase believe me, I did not forget about them. Being a huge WIR fan, how can I do such a thing? lol. You're right, I can't. LOL!!!!
