04/01/2017: Happy New Year everyone! Sorry, I've been away for so long but you know how it goes: lesson plans, end-of-term reports, parent-teacher conferences, all sorts of meetings and the holiday season were upon me before I could blink... I haven't forgotten all of you dear readers (thanks by the way for all the PMs and favorites and follows!), and I'll be back soon-ish with a new chapter, I promise.

25/09/2016: I'm back! Best laid plans of mice and men, as people say... anyway, sorry for the lengthy delay in updating... anything at all really, but I am editing the next couple chapters of Alex, or A New Kid on the Block as we speak! I should have been working on lesson plans instead, but hey, when the muses come a-knocking, you don't send them away now, do you? I can't promise a regular posting schedule, so I won't. But I will work on Alex, or A New Kid on the Block whenever I can!

04/04/2016: Hello everyone, please accept my apologies for not having posted anything so far, but I literally have no time whatsoever for anything else other than Uni and school work these days! This busy period is coming to a close very soon though, so I'm hopeful I'll be able to set up a regular posting schedule next month. In the meantime, here's chapter 1 of A New Kid on the Block to tide you over!

25/01/2016: Hi everyone, belated Happy New Year! I'm so sorry I haven't posted anything in a long time, but RL ain't giving me much time for myself these days. I'm super busy, and my muses can't seem to stay long enough for me to put pen to paper, or fingers to keyboard in this case.

Never fear though, dearest readers, I am delighted to announce... a new collab between Demetra83 and I! I've been hooked on her French-language Alex (a Stargate: SG-1 fic with the addition of characters inspired by and/or borrowed from Battlestar Galactica) since its inception, and she has been kind enough to allow me to translate it in English under the working title A New Kid on the Block for you guys, how cool is that! The original version is a WIP though, so we'll take it slow (there's already 66 chapters out though, so no worries, we'll have plenty to work with while Demetra83 finishes the story!).

Now I don't have as much free time as I'd like; between uni, classes, lesson plans and thesis work, there are some weeks (most of them, actually!) when I am happy I get enough time to eat and sleep! But I have started the translation work, and I will do my best to post at least one chapter every fortnight; the first one is to come within the next couple weeks (I want to have at least 2-3 chapters done before I start posting, so that I can stick to my schedule... I am the queen of procrastination, so I need to make sure I follow this rule to not let you guys down!), so watch this space!

15/08/2015: Hello everyone, just a wee update to thank all of you who are continuing to appreciate, read and review the works posted here: makes me feel all fuzzy inside! I know I haven't posted anything in a long time, but I do have a few ideas bouncing around; I'll try to get them down "on paper" as soon as I can.

I am to start on the last year of my masters' degree and I'll also be teaching high school students part-time, so I won't have much time to devote to writing; I will try to get something done though, promise! In the meantime, go check out Demetra83's stuff, she has a lot of it which is awesome, and she's much better than I am at updating and publishing things.

08/01/2015: Well, that's a whole chapter of my FF life over: A Perfect Weekend is complete! Sorry it has taken me so long to get it done, but what a ride! Demetra83 is awesome, and it's thanks to her I was able to share this perfect story with all of you. Thanks to all who have stayed with us until the end, you guys rock!

12/09/2014: Hi again, long time no see! I apologize for having been away for so long! I don't usually like leaving things hanging, but RL has been a b* these past few months. Now that I'm settled again, I'll pick things back up, I promise! and maybe try something new, who knows?

04/01/2014: Happy new year everyone! I'm trying something new, since my muses have sadly temporarily abandoned ship... My new project is a translation, from French, of a great multi-chapter story called "Le temps d'un week-end" by the awesome Demetra83. I'll be updating twice a week for now, Wednesdays and Fridays, and we'll see how it goes. Tell me what you think please :)
