Hey there. I haven't changed this in a while, and I think it needed an update.

BADLY.

Well, first off, I still adore anime. It's just that, my tastes have expanded a little.

...ok, a lot.

I used to watch...3 animes? I think...now I love many, many more!

My all time favs include (in no particular order):Inuyasha, Samurai Champloo, Yu Yu Hakusho, Trigun, Furi Curi, Fruits Basket, Ranma 1/2, Naruto, Full Metal Alchemist, and there's probably more that I'm forgetting but...yeah.

I have a plethora of favorite characters, so I'll just name a few...Sesshoumaru, Bankotsu (Inuyasha), Mugen, Jin, Fuu (Samurai Champloo...I love 'em all .), Jin (YYH), Legato Bluesummers (Trigun...doesn't he just SOUND cool!), Ritsu, Ayame (Fruits Basket...but NOT as a couple! Yucky...), Mousse,Shampoo, (Ranma 1/2), Kakashi-sensei (Naruto), Mustang, Ed, that crazy butcher guy (lmao, don't remember his name...), Hughes (FMA). Yeah, so...yeah. There you go. Not like anyone will read this anyway but...w/e.

Now for everyone's favorite part...my rantings. smiles sweetly

All righty then, where to begin...well, let's start with our couples. First off, I would like to say that just because I think Mugen/Jin or Ritsu/Ayame pairings are ridiculous, that does NOT make me a homophobic! It's not that it's 2 guys that bothers me, it's that they don't make any sense at all! If I were homophobic, the fact that there are hundreds of Jakotsu/Bankostu fanfics would bother me, but it doesn't. Yeah, sure, they fit. I'll agree with that. They would probably be a compatible couple...(If only they hadn't died so soon ....)I mean, you guys that pair up Mugen and Jin... where's your basis for that? Some people say that Jin loves Mugen because he claims him as one of his first friends...so what? I have plenty of friends that I'm not in love with. I didn't fall head over heels for my first friend, why should he? Especially considering that he's already supposed to head back for Shino...on that note, I almost like Jin/Fuu more than I like Jin/Shino...almost.

For those of you who like to make characters, well, out of character...please clearly mark it. I love reading OOC stories for a good laugh now and then, but when I waste a half an hour reading a story that ends up having some OOC bs ending, it kind ofruins the whole story! Remember, people don't wanna read some crap that you slopped together five minutes before you had to leave for school! I'm sure they'd much rather wait an extra day and get a good story as opposed to getting immediate feedback that absolutely sucks. I understand that some of you try your hardest, and I'm not raving about you. I'm raving about the people who put up stories that they know are bad. The grammer is atrocious, the plot is pointless and has multiple flaws, and the characters aren't even themselves anymore. THOSE are the kinds of stories I'm talking about.

Lastly, for now, is not really a rant. I just felt like drabbling on about how even though we do have horrible story writers, see rant #2, there ARE those that truly do write because they have a passion for it. You can always tell when someone truly lovesa story because they treat it like a living thing. They help it develop and mature into a wonderful piece of literature that can actually move those who read it, unlike a lot of unfelt, pointless stories that I've read before. I'd like to thank all of you reading this that truly do put effort into your stories. The hard work has not gone unnoticed. Thank you! o
