Spear-Points Gleaming is a result of Armadillo asking to no one in particular, "Why are there no Napoleonic dfics?" It follows Markus Kraus of Mantle's army, as he marches on a campaign against whoever the Kaiser deems the enemy. There's no saving the day or any other cliches, as Markus is just a regular soldier following regular orders. The fic is merely meant to establish a non-canon canon for the era it covers. Or, basically, the Chief just wants you to reference his fic in yours.

Weltkrieg means "World War" in German, which makes the point of the fic obvious: It's Spear-Points Gleaming but it is instead set in the Great War. I'm not revealing any details now.
