My name is Rachel and I'm 17 years old.

My pen name is Mousegal for 2 main reasons:-

1.) It's a kinda nickname that my friends have given me bcos I'm a bit shy & so I don't talk as much as them!!

My closest friends are Nicola (Legyluva) - she writes brilliant LOTR related stories & poems - usually involving Legolas; Michelle (Michelle Frodo) - she writes fantastic Sam 'n' Frodo poems and stories, and Sarah (arwen undomiel3) - who writes mainly LOTR stories and poems - some of which are v. sad!! She's also wrote some X-men and Buffy stories.

2.) I used to always eat cheese sandwiches @ dinner in school!!!

Well, I'll tell you a bit about myself, but I promise not to go on for too long. I don't want to bore you!!

I really enjoy reading. My favourite books are 'The Hobbit' and 'The Lord of the Rings' trilogy, by J.R.R.Tolkien and all the 'Harry Potter' books.
I also like 'Jayne Eyre' by Charlotte Bronte, 'Pride and Prejudice' by Jane Austen and 'The Three Musketeers' by Alexandre Dumas.

Here are two of my favourite quotes from books, both of which are by J.R.R.Tolkien:-

I also enjoy watching films. My favourite films are 'The Lord of the Rings' (of course!) and I also like 'The Pirates of the Caribbean' bcos I think it's hilarious (I think that Johnny Depp's character - Captain Jack Sparrow is SO funny!!)

I also love listening to music. I don't really have a favourite group/band - but just favourite songs.

I like Avril Lavigne's albums 'Let Go' and 'Under my Skin.' I also like Coldplay, Evanescence and Snow Patrol.

I also like some classical music - but not all of it.

I love the soundtracks for LOTR - especially the soundtrack for the Fellowship, and I like the 'Gladiator' soundtrack, also.

I also like music by Mozart and Beethoven, and music by quite a recent composer called Ludovico Einaudi - who is a brilliant Italian pianist.

I enjoy playing the piano myself - but I play really badly!!! (Just ask my family)!!!

Anyway, that's enough about me!!!

I'm sure that there can't be anyone reading this who's still awake or who isn't bored to death - so I'll stop now.
