I'm the produce ninja! I really couldn't think of a better name at the time, so this is what I chose. I suppose I should do an introduction or something... I'm a teenager that happens to be female and I'm not telling where I am. You'll never know where I am... I'm just stealthy like that. My hobbies include: video games, manga, drawing, reading GOOD fanfictions, Tae Kwon Do sleeping (that's a big one), and listening to music. I'll just start down the list with stuff I like and don't like in each genre. Before I describe the pairings I like, I want to make something clear. I HATE mushy romance. Even if it's a pairing that I don't like, if they go into even a hint of the "I'm in heat" speech, I'm leaving. I don't care what the pairing is, I'm out. Video Games: I prefer RPGs and action platform games above all else. My favorite series of RPGs and action platform games are: Legend of Zelda: This is one of the most legendary game series of all time. My obsession with it is also legendary. I once made a Legend of Zelda tribute on a three flap presentation board. I still have that... ANYway, these are my opinions on the various pairings for fanfics(everyone is entitled to their own opinion, this is just mine): Zelda/Link: I think it really depends on the game in question. Sometimes it would work, but at other times, not so much. Malon/Link: I just think that would work. They are both down to earth people and I think their personalities could mesh. Saria/Link: They're better off as just being friends. It might've worked if she actually grew up, but given the circumstances, it's just better to leave it as best friends. Ruto/Link: NO Tetra/Link: That has some possibilities. I approve of her because she actually helped instead of shrieking every single time Link got hit. She also is really stubborn and harsh, but deep down, she's a nice person. Midna/Link: This pairings decent in my opinion. Illia/Link: I think that's the pairing that Nintendo was steering towards in Twilight Princess. That pairing would most likely work. On to Tales! Tales of Symphonia: That is a great RPG. The characters are well developed and the storyline moves very rapidly, if you get past the boring plot development. It truly starts when the party gets to the Tower of Salvation. There, the party learns that the angels are bad and are trying to resurrect someone who has been dead for over 4000 years. Can you say 'creepy'? Pairings: Lloyd/Colette: I like this pairing because I think it would work. It really emphasizes on this pairing a lot in the game, and I like it how they are both completely clueless. Sheena/Lloyd: I like this pairing too. Sheena deserves something nice, and what's better than an idealistic idiot, who happens to be totally oblivious over the fact that she likes him. Sheena/Zelos: This pairing amuses me. Zelos really needs someone to beat on him when he's being a total pervert and Sheena's just the perfect candidate. Zelos/Lloyd: I don't hate this pairing, but it's not my favorite either. Raine/Kratos:NOOOOOOOO!!!!!! I just don't like it. Presea/Genis: I like this pairing because Genis goes from being a over intelligent smartass to a babbling idiot whenever Presea enters the room. It's rather amusing. Presea/Regal: There's too much of a physical age difference between them. Genis/Mithos: I feel the same way about this pairing as I do the Zelos/Lloyd pairing. I don't hate it, but not my favorite. As for the rest of the pairings that they have in the game, I support them ALOT! Okay, I'll just say my turnoffs and turnons of fanfictions right here: Turnons: Good fighting is a must, descriptive dialogue is important, I like storylines that actually are entertaining. PUCTUATION, spelling is also a big role, I love developed characters that actually have thoughts and personal issues Turnoffs: Mary Sues, perfect heroes or heroines, Mushy romance,(die..)or any type of "save me, I'm locked in a tower" crap. That's just degrading to even glance at. I despise it when people keep fluctuating from present to past tense throughout a story. Unless they do it intentionally to make a point, it's really a pet peeve of mine. The authors should stay in past tense because it just sounds better when being read. |
