Hey y'all!

My name's Jasmine and I'm a fan of fanfiction (boy did that sound cheesy...)! I'm a girl, though you might have figured that out by now. I live in the U.S. and I love reading and writing. I love the Hardy Boys and CSI and National Treasure and Star Wars and... well, I like just about everything. I like to believe that I have a good sense of humor and awesome hearing and terrible eyesight and precognition. You heard right! I think I'm psychic! Yay me!!

Ummm... on a more sane level, you will never catch me writing romance. Or at least, romance without action in it, or something at least a little abnormal. Like a genie in a snowglobe. Or a girl with telekinesis. Horror is okay, although I'll never do anything completely gory. Yuck. I will never swear, I've never swore in my life. Parodies are a not. I'll add a little humor to my stories, yes, but senseless, idiotic comedy is not for me. Sorry.

I made a New Year's Resolution: I will finish every story I've ever started and create at least 2 new ones before 2010. I will also start putting my viewers' comments in my stories before the actual chapter. Just a heads up.

Oh, yeah! I'm going to be writing one-shots, now, just to finish them. So... yeah.

Hate That I Love You: ... Okay, I'm sorry to everyone who likes that story, but I'm, uh, stuck. Any ideas? crickets chirp Anyone??

Mirror, Mirror: Good news! I have like, half the story written in my notebook, so all I have to do is type it up.

Legend of the Flower Warrior: The plan was to have the entire story on one chapter, so it'll take a while. But I haven't given up on this story!

Hope You Don't Mind: Ahhh, my newest edition... Yeah, I have a pretty good idea where this is going, but don't panic if I don't update for a while. I might be working on others.

Background:
What inspired me to write my stories...

Chaos: This story was actually based off a dream of mine, when Ethan's dad was actually Ryan's dad and Ryan had magic. After I wrote the first chapter or so, I realized how cute Ryan and Gabriella look, so... this was the result. I hope you like it.

Secret of Shadow Cay: laughsI read a story like this on fanfiction, and I loved it so much, I decided to make one of my own. Crystal and Cristina are mine, also Rachel, and BFDC. The rest you can recognize, although most people don't know who Juniper, Gena, and Anne are. They make up a book series. Some of their books are The Ghost of Shady Lane, The Burning Penduluem, among others that I sadly cannot remember. I put them in because I didn't want Crystal and Cristina to be the only psychics (Juniper is psychic, too).

Hate That I Love You: Oh, my gosh, I was so sad when I wrote this. I was thinking about what would happen if I lost my brother while listening to Rhianna and Ne-Yo blast it out on the radio, and, well, this is what happened. I felt, kinda gross writing the first chapter, to be honest. Made me uncomfortable. I don't think I'm ever going to do that again. No way.

Mirror, Mirror: I watched that one movie, Jet Jackson, where the guy's acting and his alter-ego switched places with him. Then, a couple days laer, I read a fanfiction about Ryan and Ethan being twins... Well, it was a good enough idea, right? Not a romance, but it should pack some laughs in there. grins cheekily

Legend of the Flower Warrior: hehehehe... I watched every Star Wars movie in a marathon and then I went on the computer and looked at Star Wars fanfiction. I was feeling a little left out, because they never mentioned Earth (Hmmm, wonder why, huh?). I thought it would be fun to put myself in it, so... what the heck. Ta-da!

Hope You Don't Mind: I really like this one, because it's a romance with a secret. I connect better with Caitlyn, because she's almost exactly like me. A smartmouth on the outside gaurding the hurt on the inside. The reason Caitlyn will never love is because... well, I guess you'll just have to read on for that, huh? I wrote the song, Hope You Don't Mind, which will make a guest appearance later on in the story. I think I'll turn this into a musical, 'cause I have another song, Only a Little Bit. Ha! I love that song, it's my favorite out of all the songs I've eve made. So, yeah...

Jasmine: I don't know, let me check...HEY MOM, ARE YOU AROUND?!
Mom: Uh, yes?
Jasmine: No, I don't know where she is.

Jasmine: chasing Caleb with a brownie-covered knife Chocolate...! Chocolate...! Chocolate...! CHOCOLATE!!
(Caleb hates chocolate)

Ashley: It wasn't like a "ha ha," it was more like a "MWUUUAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!"

Dad: TOO MANY BUTTONS! SHOOT! Jeez, I just gotta learn how to play the game, but there's TOO MANY DANG BUTTONS! I PUSHED THE WRONG BUTTON!

Ina Radich: I certainly underestimated you Hardys, that's for sure.
Detective Posten: rolls his eyes So did we! We actually thought they'd listen to us and let us crack the case!

Nat: Jasmine? Wanna show.
Jasmine: You want a show? Go ask Caleb.
Nat: yelling CALEB! WANNA SHOW!!

Jasmine: Oh, shoot! I just ate the brownie I was about to give to dad! thinks Oh, well.

Mrs. Bennett: Okay let's pretend my right thumb is Bob and my left thumb is the pope.
Bob: Hey, what's up, pope? How's life?
Pope: Hey, Bob, I'm good, what brings you here, my man?
Bob: Oh, dude, I committed this awful sin, you know, I just killed my wife.
Pope: Oh, so sorry, Bob, guess you can't go to heaven now. That's too bad.

Caleb: ...
Jasmine: ... OH!

Caleb: yelling at Madden 09 Block!
Jasmine: Chill out, Caleb.
Caleb: BLOCK!
Jasmine: exasperated It's a video game, Caleb! You have no conrtol of what they're doing!
Caleb: BLOCK!!

Mr. Andrews: (after picking up the phone) whispers Mommy? You know you're not supposed to call me at work! ... Yes, I fed Mittens. ... Well, take her out! She might have to, you know... Love you too, Mommy. Bye."
Jason: ... Who was that?
Mr. Andrews: "The principle. Get back to work." Language Arts a year ago.

Mr. Andrews: "Okay, can anyone tell me what an apostrophe will do if it gives possession to a person or thing?"
Jasmine: "Uh, you just told us..."
Mr. Andrews: "I did? Oh, jeez, I did!" leans in, whispers "If I give you a candy bar, will you promise not to tell Mrs. Doyle?" Mr. Andrews being a dork

Things that will make me cry. Things I believe in.

You know that girl you pass in the hallways? The girl who stares down at the floor all the time? She never talks, always does the things she's told. She always has her nose in a book. She always gets good grades. She's afraid to speak up, but doesn't want to be unheard. You know that girl you want to tease? I am psychic. But I don't tell anyone. When the time comes, if I do need to use it, I will. But for now, I don't really care.
I am a child of divorce. As a result, I am shipped back and forth with my brother every other week. But I don't have it that bad. And I don't really care.
I love to write. It's who I am. Writing makes me what I believe in, hope and faith and love and adventure. As a result, I am teased and scolded. But I don't really care.
I am African-American. And Philippino. I face racism a lot in my school. But I am what I am, and I don't really care.
My name is Jasmine. I am a flower. My name means leader, and I am a Leo. I am myself, and no one can change that fact. No matter how bad my life gets. My name means hope. And I intend to use it.
