Once it reaches 19 years of age, it finally updates its profile. Typically found lurking and leaving (hopefully) thoughtful reviews but can otherwise be observed attending college, drawing, or lazing around in a lax social setting.

In my experience, many writers who post work here are sensitive to critique, as a result I've gotten into the habit of only reviewing stories where I have mostly if not only good things to say. An artist myself, albeit graphical instead of literary, I fear I don't "get" that. Perhaps when I was younger I might have over-reacted to critique, but now I realize it is a good thing. You do not have to know how to draw a human in order to look at a picture and notice something is off. You do not have to be able to write well in order to recognize rough-edged story-telling. At the same time I acknowledge that, for whatever reason, some authors here /are/ sensitive to less-than-shining feedback.

My personal pact is this: I will strive to leave reviews that express honestly my opinion, and I will explain why I hold such an opinion. My reviews will never be "omg I love this write more", nor will they ever be "this is trash stop writing please". I believe in constructive commentary.
