OK folks:

I have decided to add a brief profile here, since I will soon start adding favourite authors and stories. I am a 43 year old married guy, with a wonderful wife and two fantastic kids. Live in Miami.

Watched Chuck when it came out and saw every episode. Liked the show. It really did not hit home how great it was until I watched it a second time (and then a third time with my family). Loved the Charah, loved the comedy and I felt the chemistry among the characters was second to none.

I do not write, but I have a great deal of admiration for those who do, especially those authors on this site who do it for the love of the show and writing, and whose only payments are the reviews and private messages that readers such as ourselves leave.

I only discovered fanfiction in the summer of 2014, so I missed when most of these stories were written, but I am compiling a list of some of my favourites. Here is what I can promise you about the stories that I recommend.

1. THEY WILL ALL BE MARKED COMPLETE. Having learned the hard way how tough it is to read an incomplete story, I am not going to lead you down the path to read a story that leaves you hanging. I will not even favourite a story that is still under way. I will wait until it is finished. There is ONE exception to this and that is Deadly Illusions by Billatwork. I have included it in my favourites list because I am 100% sure that it will be completed.

Point 1 addendum added 12/31/15: So, after having read many stories and getting involved by doing some beta work for some of the authors, I an amending this point. I WILL be adding a few stories to my favourites that are not marked complete. But I will still promise that any story I post will not leave you hanging. Chuck vs. The Con Game by Steampunk.Chuckster is a perfect example. It is not marked complete and may never be. But you can read it as is and will not feel that you are left hanging. I will also add stories that are being worked on that I have first hand knowledge that they will be completed. If they are not for some reason, I will remove them. So if you see an ongoing story, it is because I have at least communicated with the author and received some kind of word that the story is still being worked on.

2. They will all be CHUCK stories. I read exclusively Chuck stories so that is what you will get from me.

3. They will be a mix of types of stories. Some might be purely fluff, some will be filled with angst and some might be very funny. They will all be, in my humble opinion, very entertaining and worth the read. Some stories rated M, may show up so please make sure you read the rating on the story.

4. The authors I list as favourites are, again in my opinion, the best of the best and are authors that have clearly put a lot of time and effort into their product. many of then, even if they have not written a story in a while, still get messages and reviews so let them know what you think of their stories.
