Hello World!!!

The name's Danielle and I have been reading stories on FF for over a year now, though I've just decided to make an account. :)

I'm in high school, I'll let you guess my age ;)

But I get pinches and kisses every year on February 5th. :)

My favorite...

Books: I like almost anything I read, but nothing too scary :) A few of my faves are "The Twilight Saga" by Stephenie Meyer (please, don't kill me...and I'm not overly obsessed like some people *cough Sam cough*), "The Clique" series by Lisi Harrison, "The Hunger Games", anything by Sarah Dessen (except "That Summer", didn't really enjoy that one...), anything by Nicholas Sparks (Ugh, he can make me cry...like tears streaming I look a mess crying), "Perfect Chemistry", "Rules of Attraction" and "Leaving Paradise" all by Simone Elekeles (I think that's how you spell her last name?), "My Sister's Keeper" by Jodi Picoult and many others...I just can't think of anything right now...

Movies: Oh God, how I love my movies!!! I will literally watch ANYTHING!! "Titanic", "The Notebook", "Step Up", "16 Candles", "Risky Businnes", "Dirty Dancing", "Grease", "The Hangover", "Role Models", "Shrek", anything Disney made, "The Blind Side", "Valentine's Day", "Shutter Island", "The Uninvited", "Inception", "Zombieland", "Twilight", "New Moon", "Eclipse", "The Runaways", "Remember Me", "The Proposal", "How To Lose A Guy In Ten Days", The "Bring It On" series...these are just to name a few and as you can see, romance and comedy are pretty high on my list

Music: Again, I love, love, love, LOVE music!! I will listen to anything from the Jonas Brothers (hey, they have some good songs!) to Metallica. I'm pretty diverse when it comes to what I listen to, it can be from the 70's, 80's, 90's or today! I feel like a radio station advertising their music...lol.

Family Vacation: Okay, I just have to post this story because it's just too awful and crazy not to! :) Well, I live in New York and last summer my parents decided that they would take all their kids (there's 8 of us) on a family road trip to California to visit some relatives. The first mistake was choosing to drive...hello Cali is like 3,000 miles away from my house! There was no way that I'd be able to survive like 4-5 days traveling! So my dad rents this huge van (that reminds me of an RV) and we start our hellish journey to San Diego. First disaster, we stopped to use the bathroom and left my 6 year old sister Lauren at the rest stop. It took us like 5 minutes of being in the car to realize that she wasn't with us! Ugh, bad parenting and bad siblings!! Sorry Laur! Disaster numero dos (number 2), we had called a hotel in Indiana for reservations to spend the night because my family needs like 3 rooms and if you don't make reservations then there is never enough room for us. So we get to the hotel at about 1 AM and what do they tell us? They only have one room booked for us, and we have 10 people in my family!!! So we ask if we could get at least another room and what do you know, the entire place is booked except for our one room. My dad and 2 oldest brothers ended up sleeping in the van, while the 7 other people (myself included) spent the night sharing 2 beds and 1 cot. That was a nightmare, I think I got 2 hours of sleep if that. So the next morning we all are ready to just put everything that's happened behind us and for the first hours on the road we're all having a good time. But then we entered Kansas and disaster number 3 happened. Our car broke down and we had to call a tow truck to pick us up and get the car fixed. We waited on the side of the road for almost 2 hours before the freaking guy showed up!!! Then to make it better, he fixes the car on the side of the rode in less than a minute!!! 60 seconds people!! Apparently something popped out and needed to be reconnected, that's all. My mother, sisters and I were so mad. We were only on day 2 and I already wanted to go home. We get back on the road and my dad insisted on driving the whole night and my mom and older siblings could all just take turns driving, and I was fine with that. But then disaster number 4 occured. My brother, Jake, was driving when he ran over some glass or something sharp and popped 2 of our tires. I was asleep for this enitre ordeal and apparently Jake and my dad walked to some service station that was a mile away and got some help. I barely remember that night but I do remember standing on the side of the road, about to fall asleep while they changed the tires. The next day we were in Nevada, close to Las Vegas when my brother Aaron insists that we stop so the older family members could do a little gambling...my mother hates it so she opposed but of course, we ended up stopping and the total amount of money lost was 1100 bucks. But the good news is that my dad won 400 of it back. We ended up spending the night in the hotel that the casino was in. Oh and I forgot to mention, Carmela decided that she was going to run away while were in the hotel and she went into the casino before we could find her. Since she's a minor, she's not allowed to be in the casino. So when security found her they kicked her out and threatened to press some sort of charges because they could get in trouble. That was disaster number 5. At this point I was about 2 seconds away from getting on a plane back to New York. But my mother would have never allowed it (but yet she allowed Las Vegas to happen). So after driving straight through the rest of the way I couldn't wait to just chill in San Diego for 2 weeks. It was a fun vacation, very memorable :) . But we all agreed that we would fly back home, thank God. And my father promised to never make us drive to California again. But of course, there's still every other state in the US...IF YOU READ THIS INCREDIBLY LONG AND BORING STORY KUDOS TO YOU ;)

Sibling: Don't have one!!! Aaron, Jake, Karissa, Christopher, Carmela, Lauren and Emmett I love you all sooooo much!!! Even when I want nothing more than to kill you :)

Cousin: Don't have one!!!! I love you all and I can't imagine my life without any of you in it!! Thanks for the laughs, memories, sleepovers and stalkers! ;)

Friend: Again, don't have one!!! Though I'd love to have Y-O-U as my new friend :) .
