 Author has written 3 stories for Gallagher Girls, and StarTrek: Deep Space Nine. I am a 20 year old university student in Scotland who has a passion for science fiction and politics. Despite studying maths at university, I greatly enjoy reading and writing fiction, which makes my degree choice seem highly illogical at times. I watch far too much TV, including: As a child, I would take new books out the library every week and lose myself in those worlds. It provided a welcome release from the stress of my school life where friends were few and far between. Reading saved me time and time again and my passion for it has only grown over the years. The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Harry Potter and Gallagher Girls are among my favourite book series. The Book Thief (Markus Zusak), The Circle (Dave Eggers), To Kill A Mockingbird (Harper Lee), The Carbon Diaries 2015 (Saci Lloyd) and An Abundance of Katherines (John Green) among my favourite individual books. The sort of stories I write are often political sci-fi, stuff about conspiracies, random things centred around bizarre conversations I have with my friends or pretty much anything involving time travel. I get way too excited when I hear or read the word 'referendum'. |
