It is determination that fuels Peter Parker's daring undercover mission as an intern for Stark Tower. The Avengers continue to pursue Spider-Man. Essentially, Peter has a panic attack during a sparring session, the Tower gets invaded, and Steve and Natasha finally get a glimpse at the guilt Peter's been carrying with him. The Avengers suddenly find themselves surrounded by evidence of Peter's lack of self-worth, mostly stemming from a long torture/kidnapping stint with Doc Oc.

Peter manages to finally meet the Avengers but they aren't too pleased with him fighting battles and bad guys. He also has managed to put positivity into Tony's life. It was supposed to be a normal day. Unfortunately, Peter's life tends to be the perfect example of Murphy's Law. A bullying victim wanting revenge on his tormentor paired with terrified classmates means Peter's going to do something stupid. (I swear it's better than the summary) Rated T for a reason. During the fight with Toomes, Peter winds up with more injuries than he bargained for. This leads to a desperate Tony trying not only to save his Spider, but help him recover from the fallout after. Just a little something I wanted to write. Takes place during Homecoming, and after, but doesn't really follow along that much.

There's another death in the Parker family leaving Peter without any relatives... or so he thought. Extensive research done to find any living relatives finds some interesting information leading back to WW2. Apparently he does have a relative who is shockingly able to look after him.

There's a riot down in Manhattan. Iron Man and Captain America are the first on the scene but they are joined by the vigilante Spider-Man. Although neither is certain about the masked man, they both end up respecting him. Why? How? And who's that kid? (Not OC and better info inside)
