Hey! I'm Koizumi Romi, and before we begin, I'd like to put some things on the table:

1) First off, I watch the Japanese versions of ALL anime with the english subs. Which means that in all of my fanfics the last name goes before the first name, I will not be tolerant of English Dubbers reviewing in their evil English Dubberish, and there will be some Japanese words and phrases thrown in my fics for good measure - I will, however, provide a translation for the not-so-obvious phrases in a way that blends with the story.

2) I cannot stand it when people use bad grammar and spelling. I am a nut about these things, and I have also noticed that many times (this does not apply to all), the fics with bad spelling and grammar are bad themselves - and WHAT THE FUCK IS IT WITH PEOPLE SPELLING THE KYUUBI'S NAME KYUBBI?! WHO THE FUCK IS KYUBBI?!

3) I hate when people make fanfics about two characters falling in love and rush into things too quickly, especially if it's not the characters' natures to do so. Say, Toushirou or Sasuke. They both need a little time before they break out of their shells to ANYONE.

4) In Japan, there are no plurals, so I don't use the plural form of any Japanese words in my stories. (i.e. Not Shinigamis, Shinigami)

5) I'm NOT a fangirl. I don't mind fangirls, for the most part, but those completely OBSESSED piss me off. Don't even TRY to talk to me.

6) Authors' Notes in stories? Don't read 'em. Don't like 'em. If they're short, I'll read them, but it pisses me off if it's RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FUCKING CHAPTER. WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE? I'm guilty of this, too, but I erased it, so problem solved, bitches.

Sorry if all these rules make me seem kind of like an evil hardass. I'm not, but a lot of people hate these things and most of them don't write them down so that other people know too, so I'm going to sacrifice people getting the wrong idea of my personality and make sure they understand that sometimes, people may not be tolerant of these things.

My favorite manga are Bleach and Naruto. Naruto started out good, then it got sucky, but now it's starting to get pretty damn good again.

I'm also making my own manga but I won't tell anyone yet because I can't risk my ideas being stolen - even if it is crap after all. Let's just say that if you hate yaoi, yuri, blood, gore, and intense, emotional, violent moments which will be sick and twisted because that is my mind, don't read.

Here are my favorite pairings:

Bleach:

IchiHime/Ichigo x Orihime (I used to like IchiRuki, but judging from the recent manga, that won't happen)

GinRan/Ichimaru x Rangiku (Always liked Ran. She's deeper than most of the other characters who like other characters. There's definitely some tenderness to Gin, but she's way better than a fangirl)

ByaRen/Byakuya x Renji (Bya is the Seme. Renji is the Uke. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. I'm not sure if it'll happen or not yet. There have been some fluffy moments in the manga...)

IkkaYumi/Ikkaku x Yumichika (Ikkaku is probably very ugly by Yumi's standards, but they're friends anyway. You have to wonder if there's some deeper meaning behind it...)

RenRuki/Renji x Rukia (This is the alternative to ByaRen because it's not gonna fucking happen, and you know it)

YoruSoi/Yoruichi x Soi Fon (Soi practically worships her. And you gotta love Yoruichi's tenderness to Fon)

ShunNana/Shunsui x Nanao (Shunsui hits on her. Nanao puts up with it. Kind of. You gotta love it!)

ShunLisa/Shunsui x Lisa (Sometimes I feel that Shunsui only flirts with Nanao because he misses Lisa-chan...)

JinYuzu/Jinta x Yuzu (Jinta obviously likes her. Yuzu's oblivious to it. LURVE!)

KaiMiya/Kaien x Miyako (Miyako and Kaien were husband and wife. It's an obvious pairing)

Naruto:

NaruHina/Naruto x Hinata (In the manga, she confessed her love to him and Pein knocked her out. Naruto then went spidermonkey on his ass)

ShikaTem/Shikamaru x Temari (Dude...read the manga, look me in the eye, and tell me shit isn't gonna go down. On the other hand, don't. Troublesome)

AsuKure/Asuma x Kurenai (Dude, come on)

InoSaku/Ino x Sakura (I gotta say, if it's done right it can be quite a cute couple. Not gonna really happen, though)

Pairings I HATE:

NaruSaku/Naruto x Sakura (Okay, remember when I mentioned I hated fangirls? Yeah. I hate Sakura. For more reasons why I hate her, see below)

Naru/Anyone other than Hinata (I. Love. NaruHina. Listen, to all you people who think it's overused... It's used a lot because it's good. People love to see them together because of they work)

Sasu/Anyone (Bastard gotta die. Actually, put him with Sakura. Assholes and bitches go well together)

Saku/Anyone (See above)

KakaKure/Kakashi x Kurenai (SHE GOES WITH ASUMA, NOT KAKASHI. GET THE FUCK OVER YOURSELVES)

Anything else you can consider under my radar or something I don't really care about. For rants about certain things, see below.

SAKURA

Okay, this is an obvious one. I am not an all-around Sakura-hater, despite what my profile has led you to believe, since I do believe people can change and she has gotten better in the manga...a little. But here's the thing: I don't identify with Sakura. She constantly beats the crap out of the main protagonist (ie. Naruto), who honestly just wants to make her happy. She's so wrapped up in wondering why Sasuke doesn't notice her affections that she doesn't notice Naruto's feelings, who in turn doesn't notice Hinata's feelings, who in turn doesn't notice...I don't know, Akamaru's feelings?

Anyway, while wrapped up in her love life, she's not true to herself, either. Since she'd become friends with Ino, she'd been acting like a feminine person, a cutesy little girl who likes to try on dresses and play with dolls, when she's really a tomboy who likes to get down into the nitty-gritty. Inner Sakura is the internal manifestation of these feelings she's been hiding from the world in order to be a more perfect person, wrapped up in conforming to society's views on how 'ladies' should behave and creating a fake persona while the real her is inside, struggling to get out. Hence: Inner Sakura is born, which I believe is closest defined as Dissociative Identity Disorder. Okay, you made a new personality because you were picked on, okay. There are people who've gone through worse shit than you on A DAILY FUCKING BASIS and don't resort to that. Even those who do have been through worse shit than you, so don't fucking complain.

Here's something else: the reason Sakura is so violent at times (towards Naruto, of course, the guy who honest to gosh loves her) is, I think, because Inner Sakura is so desperate to get out that she lashes out at something every chance she gets - which just happens to be when she's annoyed. And the guy who annoys her (because he actually really likes her, like she's always pestering Sasuke) is, of course, Naruto.

She gets better when Part II comes around, since she's actually merged with Inner Sakura and has become who she'd always been, but always been afraid to become (if that makes any sense - it does to me). She, because of Tsunade's training (which is brought about by wanting to get stronger to, oh, I don't know, BRING BACK A CERTAIN BASTARD), has become more confident and finally merges with her Inner Self. She becomes more of the tough tomboy she truly was, but in a way became more beautiful because of the transformation anyway, because she wasn't hiding who she was anymore. Naruto notices this too - he realizes she'd finally become a fine kunoichi. And she takes offense at this!

But here's the rub, and she gets this from Tsunade: she not only uses her super-strength on enemies, but on - you guessed it - Naruto. Even Sai, who'd been bad-mouthing Sasuke the entire time, only gets a fraction of her true strength. And Naruto gets the full brunt of it, when he's been on her side the entire time! He'd readily give her up if that's what made her happy, but no, she goes and beats the crap out of him for doing stupid things - and Naruto is the type of person to do stupid things. Resorting to violence on a person who hasn't fully matured to whatever you perceive your level to be is low. It's just low.

And now she wants to go kill Sasuke by herself, poisoning her own fucking team to do it! Oh, great, Sakura, leave your only backup behind so they can't help you, armed only with a fucking kunai, and defeat a power-mad Uchiha with a fully-evolved Sharingan and a snake in his head that's as insane as he is. Good fucking job, Sakura, you became a terrific fucking kunoichi, yep. Really using your fucking brain. Tsunade taught you well, didn't she? Quite honestly, I think Sasuke's change to insanity truly broke her heart, and she actually wanted to die by his hand. Okay, great job, get your now-insane crush to turn you into a bloody mess on the dirt, great fucking idea, hon.

Even so, I'd actually like to see a Sakura-centric fic in which she truly has DID and her Inner Self actually comes out at times. It'll be interesting to see someone's take on it, but don't forget, it was my idea first. So, I guess it's a challenge! Good luck! (More details on DID!Sakura Challenge will come when I'm feeling less lazy.)

SASUKE

Okay, ever since the Uchiha Massacre he's been emotionally unstable, like he's a moon revolving around a black hole, just waiting to get sucked in. Itachi fucked with his head, and those words were basically his nindo for the rest of his life - get more hate. This goes on until he's twelve years old and Naruto and Sakura are put on his team. Despite his nindo, he wasn't too bad in the beginning, and was most certainly an okay guy. But as soon as he gets a taste of a way to get faster power, despite who it's from, he goes gallivanting off to join the guy! He was there at the Hokage's funeral, he knew what Orochimaru did, but he immediately went after him!

The Sound Four did have to give him a little push, but had he not been overwhelmed by the fact that he craved power, he never would've gone. Sarutobi Hiruzen, I'm sure, did whatever he could to help Sasuke after the attack, showering him with understanding and always being there for him, but despite all of this, he goes directly to the fucking guy that killed him!

Now, I'm not ranting about Sasuke's weak will earlier when Itachi made him hate him, because he was a kid then. He just saw his brother, the guy he worshipped and loved, kill his parents, the people he wanted to acknowledge him. This left him confused and open, and Itachi attacked that opening with harsh words, strategically planting them inside his little brother's heart and corrupting him - let it never be said that Itachi doesn't know how to use psychology against others.

The thing I'm ranting about is how Sasuke allowed this corruption to take over his entire being. I don't know, I can't identify with him - but I can't understand how anyone could allow hatred to overcome their entire being. He allowed this hate to corrupt him - he's not Sasuke anymore.

But he goes to Orochimaru, and he hasn't killed anyone yet - an accomplishment in and of itself - and it shows that he's not completely gone. He knows the object of his revenge, and he refuses to kill anyone who doesn't fit in with this. They're not the ones he wants to kill. At this point, he doesn't hate Konoha, he hates Itachi.

Then after he kills Itachi, Madara fucks things up by telling him what actually happened that night, and now, heedless of his now-once-again-idolized big brother's wishes, he turns his hate against Konoha.

Um, excuse me? Your brother destroyed his own life for Konoha's survival. He, in an act of mercy and love, left you alive as well. But now you go aainst your brother's sacrifice to destroy Konoha for ruining your brother's life, even though he wanted to do it in the first place to protect Konoha! Madara fucking told you this! What's wrong with you?!

And now he's completely insane. This last piece of information shattered everything he knew, and he got sucked into that fucking black hole that he was orbiting. Real fucking smooth, Sasuke. Real fucking smooth.

The rest of my character rants will come later (Next up is Itachi), and I'm going to add a plot rant as well.
