"The White Fool" is a 15-year-old burgeoning writer who wants nothing more than to one day have her imagination gracing every bookstore she can find. I spend a lot of my time in deep thought for creation when I have spare time, or reading, or drawing, or finding random things that will save me from boredom.
I love fantasy books, especially those by Cecelia Dart-Thornton, Tolkien and Robin Hobb. I can't wait till I can get my hands on the second book of Robin Hobb's Tawny Man trilogy. Tolkien and Dart-Thornton I have already exhausted, being the avid reader that I am.
And my favourite new quote? Something I found in an exerpt from the upcoming book in the Tawny Man trilogy, "Fool's Fate":
"When I show myself in a different light, I do not make a pretense. Rather I bare a different aspect to the world than they have seen before. Truly, there is a place in my heart where I am forever the Fool and your playfellow. And within me there is a genuine Lord Golden, fond of good drink and well-prepared food and elegant clothing and witty speech. And so, when I show myself as him, I am deceiving no one, but only sharing a different part of myself."
The Fool (a.k.a Amber, Beloved and Lord Golden) Very versatile man. Gotta love him!
The Paradox Prince
My reclusive lifestyle I lived in my father's shadow. Until the caravan arrived from the south, when I was fourteen; and gave to me the strangest gift I could imagine: Paradox.
