Gail Peck is not "just" a Peck, but getting to reinvent yourself beyond your family when you've been born into the Peck Dynasty is not a simple nor easy journey. Gail probably wouldn't have bothered to change, but then there was Holly. It's messy, it's complicated, but sometimes you come out the end a better person, snark intact.

This is kind of like that, only with texting. Eventually, the texts will be unintentionally received, but months and months later, and its not Gail who ultimately sends them.

Sophie is home for the winter holidays after completing her very first semester at McGill University in Montréal. She is pre-med and wants to become a Forensic Pathologist, and Gail couldn't be more proud of her! She also has a new hero, someone who she doesn't realize is also in Gail's past.

Holly smiled knowingly and asked what she always asked when Gail's possessive streak showed. "Feeling a little jealous, baby?" And Gail answered the way she always answered: "No." A series of one-shots centering around Gail and Holly's relationship. Chapter 14 rated M.

A major part draws from the fact that Gail quite clearly refuted the expression "bone each other" as inaccurate where her relationship with holly was concerned.
