Author has written 32 stories for Harry Potter. Ex-university student (and part-time HP fanatic and fanfic writer) based in Christchurch, New Zealand. EXPANDED BIO: It's now more than four years since I started publishing fanfic on here as a young 18 year old bloke - how time flies! I've written a lot more since graduating at the start of 2018. Most of the material I write expands on the existing book & film universe and canon - e.g. 'missing moments' between Harry's friends. Favourite characters to write: I like writing many, but in particular, I love writing from the perspectives of Ron and Ginny - both loyal to a fault to the ones they love, stubborn, rude at times, and often great for a laugh. Shipping: Don't engage in it for the sake of shipping. Virtually never engage in non-canon pairings, though I do find both Harry/Ginny and Ron/Hermione pairings to be fantastic to write. I just think the character development around them was fantastically handled by JKR. My sole exception is having a soft-spot for Neville/Luna - for that I blame the OoTP and DH2 films, and a combination of Evanna Lynch, Matthew Lewis and David Yates. I was (briefly) nominated for the 'Best Depiction of Ron' for the 2016 romioneawards on Tumblr for my fic Welcome Back Ron. Alas, due to uni commitments, my account was pretty inactive at the time and I didn't see the nomination in time to accept entering! Ah well. Favourite fic types that I like to read: Missing moments compliations between characters like Ron and Hermione, as well as alternate novel-length interpretations as seen through the eyes of people such as Dumbledore, Neville, Ginny and Minerva McGonagall. Most detestable character: Easily Umbridge (obviously.) Distant runner-up goes to Bellatrix for killing Sirus & Dobby, torturing Neville's parents into insanity, nearly killing Hermione, and being an all-round sadistic sociopath. Favourite Potter books: Probably Half-Blood Prince & Prisoner of Azkaban. Honourable mention also to Goblet of Fire as a runner up.
